Springtrap in DbD (I know, I know)
I saw an awesome gif of Springtrap in DbD a couple of days ago and, while I've been fiercely opposed to the thought of FNaF in the game in the past, I've come to the point where there are many licensed Killers I wouldn't mind in the game as long as they had cool powers to use. After I saw that gif I immediately thought of a really cool and creepy idea for his power.
His power could be that he turns the trial grounds dark, while not darkening walls and obstacles themselves so it wouldn't be frustrating to not know where you're going. So, basically all of the open area would turn dark and it would be hard to see except for in a small area around your Survivor. Springtrap would retain sight, maybe in a nightvision form. After activating the darkness, Springtrap then gains increased movement speed for (x) amount of seconds and retains full control of movement. The only feedback Survivors have to his approach are his clanking footsteps and his eyes, glowing in the dark. Springtrap can then initiate a lunge to injure a Survivor.
(An alternate idea I have with that is you would sort of "charge" his power by using an alternate attack of some sort, and then being able to launch the darkness strike, like Nocturne's ultimate from League of Legends. While he's in the darkness strike, all Survivors would be exposed)
After he successfully injures/downs a Survivor, the darkness would fade a few seconds afterward--or after (x) amount of seconds pass.
The regular darkness route with only injuring Survivors with his power would allow you to use darkness more often, while the Exposed route would turn his power into a more "ultimate" type ability. I myself kinda favor the Exposed route for a crazier and more impactful experience with his power, but the more frequent darkness would be nice to experience his power more often.
Sadly, I have no idea what his perks could be; I just had that really cool (to me, of course!) idea for his power and I thought it would be awesome to see in DbD. And I am by NO means a FNaF fangirl, however I do appreciate aspects of the story and appreciate the effort the creator put into his franchise. Like I said, I'm always happy for a new Killer if they have a cool power to use, and I could see Springtrap being added to DbD if they did it well. Also, I figure that if we have Legion wearing Robbie the Rabbit costumes in the game, then we could have a cursed animatronic with a nasty history. Thoughts?
