Dumb Chapter Idea: Super Mario Bros.

Thought I'd try a very obviously "not-gonna-ever-happen" chapter idea, but give it some relatively decent (game-wise) thoughts. So I made this on my lunch break:


Chapter: Super Mario Bros.

Survivor: Mario

Perks:

1. Super Stomp - An exhaustion perk with a 40/35/30 second exhaustion cooldown. When vaulting, press the action button to jump off the vault to gain an extra 5 metre distance. If you vault into a killer, this will stun them like DS.


2. Our Princess Is In Another Castle - You saved someone from the hook, but it won't be your last and you're motivated. When unhooking, if you have any negative status effects they immediately disappear. This also applies to Exposed, and if the Exposed status relates to Devour Hope or NOED you are now safe from those effects (You can still be Mori'd when downed with Devour though). This has a 60/50/40 second cooldown.


3. Invincibility Star - Once per match, breaking a totem grants the following effects:

• If injured, return to healthy.

• Gain Haste at 7% for 75/60/45 seconds

• When hit by the killer, the first hit will grant the speed boost as if hit, but will not remove a health state. This effect lasts for 90/75/60 seconds



Killer: Bowser

Weapon: Claw

Terror Radius: 36m

Power: Bowser's Flame - Bowser can ignite survivors and hit them with the "Burn" status effect. During this time, survivors will leave a trail of smoke and bright flames will make them more visible. They'll also only hear fire whilst trying to put out, so won't hear killers nearby. The fire can be put out as the survivor slaps the flames for a short time. Fire also takes away a health state. Bowser can also set fire to vaults, totems, lockers and breakable walls which grant a short period of "Burn".


Special Power: When Bowser fills up his flame meter (which does take a while) he is granted a Blue Shell. Upon releasing it, it will shoot off at a fast pace to the survivor who currently has the most BP. The shell only lasts a period of time, but hitting that survivor instantly puts them into the Dying state.

Mori: Bowser basically cooks you alive whilst you're on the ground.


Perks:

1. Kooper Power - A cooldown perk of 60/50/40 seconds. When pressing the action button at a breakable wall, you just smash through it instantly as if it was never there.


2. Black Magic - Bowser has dabbled in the dark arts now and again and has learnt a thing or two about dampening the hopes of others. Once per trial, Bowser can "trap" a totem. If a player makes it into a Boon, the Boon is immediately snuffed out and the survivor is given the Exposed and Oblivious effect for 60/75/90 seconds. They lose the effects once downed. The killer is notified when it ought to have been blessed and the survivor can no longer use that Boon perk.


3. Start Again - You become obsessed with a survivor. As in the games, if Mario loses he is sent to the beginning of the level, so in DBD a similar pattern follows. So long as every survivor is hooked once, when the Obsession is put on the 2nd hook, one random completed generator is regressed back to 50%/45%/40% completed. Obviously can only happen once per trial. If no gen has been completed, the gen with the most completion is reduced by 50%/75%/100% of whatever progress has been made. Survivors will not be notified which generator has been regressed.
