Even if it's a huge map, they'll still take up the majority of the map with a SWF running them

112 meters is pretty much map-sized

Play the game and you will see by yourself.

When i play survivor in soloQ, there is a DC/Suicide 2 games out of 3.

As a killer, as i play fair i see less DC/suicide but it´s like 2 or 3 trials out of 10.

These are the peak numbers per hours each day man... If you take the usual peak time of they day, you see that the peak is reached everyday around 9pm. Peak number in September was 83k and it was exactly the 19th September between 9 and 10pm.

    Those numbers are really accurate.

If you don´t see it decreasing then you should get glasses. The last time the game has had such a low unique players count was in Mars 2021 but anyway, globally, from June to today, the tendency is the continual decrease number of players even though we can see this number peaking when a new killer is released; September peak started with Pinhead and SBMM : 7th of September rise and then fall.

So what do we see ?

On the first graph you can see that between July and early September, the number of players was stable. Then we see a bump when the new chapter has been released, and due to the poor balance and SBMM implementation, we see the number falling way under what we had before the chapter release.

Even the Twitch stats are showing the same tendency :

As a 'mainly' survivor player, (I've been playing killer a lot more lately) I'm not excited for The Boonies. Seems like a waste of a perk slot to me (idgaf don't@me). I'm just waiting to see how this breaks the game and how long it stays that way.

Seems like whenever a new perk or game change is introduced it breaks somthing associated with said change.. for example when that power struggle came out stuns stopped working.....

These are big changes all at once.....not worried about the actual ones (even the key hatch ones) just worried how it's gonna bug everything else.......

Please don’t assume I’m oblivious the boon totems are gonna get nerfed when they release which I literally say in the post. Not to mention there’s already a lot of conditions that determine it’s efficiency.

I don’t plan on running the boon perks much either. Maybe I’ll use circle of hearing often but 100% speed is a bit OP.

Nah build to last isn't broken, it's just incredibly time consuming.

I don’t see myself running that perk. Seems good with medkits and flashlights only.

Upping this thread but the playerbase continue to decrease, everyday more and more.

Last 3 months, the drop is noticeable and it's even worst the last few days.

And honestly, with the experience i have had as a killer and survivor, i'm about to stop aswell, it's unbearable.

    1. As a survivor, killers camp and tunnel the first down to get a fast kill and be sure to have a chance to win the trial, if they don't do this, it's 4 hooks, 5 gens done, 3 escapes minimum.
    2. As a killer, i prefer to play fair without tunneling o proxy camp and yes, 4 to 6 hooks, all gens done, doors opened.

It's impossible to play properly on both sides as the game design favors bad gameplay. Aswell, i have looked many fog whisperer streams... and they all promote a toxic way of playing, on both sides. Between the survivor main trolls and the killer mains that proxi camp and tunnel, you can be sure that most of the community will adopt exactly the same "strategy".

Is it healthy for the game ? No, proof is the constant players leaving. For those who don't see it, we went down from 90k peaks to under 50k. And it will continue to drop.

Last time the game was under 50k players peak was in February 2020....

Not mentioning that the game was in the top 10 on steamcharts, it is now #20...

As for Twitch viewers, it went from a peak viewers of 100k to a peak viewers of 50k. Everyone is leaving the sinking ship as the fun is totally gone.

Ghostface is still gonna be just as add on dependent as before. If not more so.

16 seconds is far too long a cooldown for a power that can instantly be removed by any survivor or mistake you make and isn't very strong in the first place.

Making it shorter without add ons but still waaaay too long but not improving anything other than that just means his now weaker add ons (that are still the only worthwhile ones he has) are still gonna be almost mandatory just to make his power semi useful.
