Why is Legacy not finally given free for all BHVR ?

Because you dont know how hard and grindy the old blood web was.
You dont deserve a legacy.And you should respect us veterans who have been playing this game since the very start.

Yeah, but that also means that you didn't put in the same work that others did to slog through the early days of a game. It's not uncommon for developers to pay respects to their early adopters. Granted, it is unfortunate to not have access to certain items, even if they are only vanity items.
Honestly, I wish they would add a new kind of legacy that you're awarded for reaching a certain level of devotion

This is only one of the many countless ''give legacy to everyone'' threads and they are getting annoying. Sorry if my reply was considered rude i didnt mean it to sound this way.
Devs should consider banning these types of threads.

You deserve the same respect as any other player that paid for this game to play it. You don’t deserve “more respect” because you had to spend a few more bloodpoints on the bloodweb.

Your player game time is showing. Do you know how hard it was to level up and get perks when the bloodweb was maxed out at 500k BP?
Do you know that people had to grind for WEEKS for those legacys?And people ended up losing them when the data whipeout bug back in 2017 happened and never got them back.
And that guy is out here nagging Behaviour why they STILL have not made the legacy available to everyone like its a thing they have to do...
If that guy is not respectfull to me as a veteran player, why should i show him respect then?
Just because you play DBD doesnt mean you need to have everything others have.

I believe Legacy should be available for everyone to earn, instead of giving it for free.
Perhaps after you reached P3, you would get the option to Prestige again, but for Legacy cosmetics instead of the regular bloody prestige ones that you've already collected.
However, that also meant that your Bloodweb would be the same from 2016, and your Bloodpoint gains would be reduced. Earning Legacy just like the OG players did sounds fair in my book.
And no, this suggestion isn't mine. I actually heard it from a Legacy owner who lost it because of the devastating "loss of progress" glitch that happened back in the day.

The legacy skins should be given to those that have proven themselves to be loyal to the game. I think they should be given away to forum users with over 2,615 posts.

I have no problems with new players earning legacys. And i mean EARN IT not ''give it away for free''. Just like how we used to do it 4 years ago. Its only fair.

I am glad to see that you agree.
I started playing DBD in 2018, meaning that I never had the chance to earn Legacy. As you've pointed out, it would be only fair to the people that want Legacy to go through the same grind that 2016 players had to endure.
But giving it out for free? Never.

Honestly, just let everyone earn legacy, but make it so that we have to prestige characters another 6 times to get the full thing

I remember seeing youtubers level up as survivor in June 2016. Compared to now, it was definetly tedious.
To the topic: I sadly started to play only 2 weeks after legacy was given, but I was supporting the game even before it released on steam. Yeah sure, a reward would be nice, but let me ask you this: What do you like soooo much about legacy? A bland outfit with shiny yellow spots on it? Or do you like its exclusivity? Give it out to anyone and you'll be amazed at how unused it will be.

Dwightcrow was never announced as an exclusive item that never returns. Legacy was.

If you had the full time on your hands, yes.
Someone who had a lot of work to do and played the game whenever they could? No.
It was different for everyone. You should not assume that it was easy for everyone because you thought it was easy.
