Not finding a single survivor till the gate opens?
I'm still new to this game so I probably just don't know all the survivors tricks, but every once in a while I get a match where either skill check fails on generators go off or crows alert or generators get fully repaired, but no matter how hard I search or how fast I move I never actually find or see any survivors or even their red scratch marks until the gates open. Whats going on?

maybe try running the perk "whisperers". if a survivor is within 32 metres of you, the icon will light up, so its easier to find survivors. other than that, play some survivor and try to hide, then when playing killer check those same spots

Whispers is a good perk for tracking, but can be a bit difficult to learn to use. Bitter Murmur is possibly easier, as you can see auras. I don't know what DLCs you have, but The Doctor basically has a built-in tracking feature.

yeah, been there too. Feels silly. So now I play the invisible guy. He can find people.

The Doctor's "Static Blast" power basically makes all Survivors in a 32 meter radius scream, which gives a visual of their location. If he gets them to Madness 3, they will also just randomly scream, again revealing their location. He may be considered a low-tier Killer, but I find him very fun to play as :)

Umm... Could be that you are not that good at tracking?
If you hear gens that have been worked on then search the area, that could be a good starting point for new players. Juts look around corners and behind walls or crates etc, or in bushes depending on the map.

Yeah I been doing that. Usually I have no issue at all locating most or all survivors in a map. It's just every once in a while this happens. That's why I'm confused

Oh wow. Didn't know that. He is one of the more scarry ones I think. I just feel silly getting whacked by chainsaw man. Because he seems like he cant even tie his own shoes.
