PS4 - Hearing killer music on survivor

Was playing against Legion on Autohaven Wreckers - I think on Gas Heaven specifically.
My friend and I could both hear the killers chase music, as if playing the killer. When Legion used frenzy, could hear that killer perspective too, including the survivor heartbeats when the killer was close enough in range.
I was playing as Meg, they were playing as Feng. Unsure what platforms the other three players were.

Additionally, we had both played killer prior to this match. Only I had played as Legion though.
