I don't like playing against Pinhead

If you were for example, positioned by the pallet in a jungle gym, then you should never have trouble with his spawn. The easy way to counter him is to drop pallets early tbh, and at pallets whether is by the shack, a gym or even in the open, should always allow you to see where he is coming from. If you cannot see him past a wall, drop the pallet and allow yourself some time to escape while giving yourself a barrier. Sorry but this is a you problem. I play Pinhead as killer everyday and i haven't had someone who had trouble with my teleports for around a month now. You need to improve your situational awareness.
What would be your solution to holding the box then? Because if chains didnt spawn while holding it, that player could hold the box hostage for the rest of the game, negating Pinhead of any real power. His chain projectile is not good enough as a power as a trade off to totally wipe out his power. How many other killers can have their power totally taken away from them to the point it will make them severely weak? It also isnt straight up impossible. Once again, you find a good position to do the box, far away from the killer and around objects that can block the chains. Its not that difficult to figure out.
The infuriating killer debate is your own experience, i personally find him extremely easy and a bore to play against. I find Blight, Nurse, Nemesis and Hag infuriating and annoying. Does it mean i want any of them changed? No. It means i recognise they are my weakness and i need to get better against them.

Stupidly annoying killer that I can't stand playing against. Chains are stupid and I just love when the chain hunt begins and I'm trying to solve the cube but getting chained being stopped from solving the damn cube. To those who wanted him in congrats, but I hate him he's the most annoying killer to face in this game and the strongest apparently. Probably just because of the stupid chain hunt

The problem is, most are using the same builds and addons because he is a weak killer, and is new. People want to play him, but they want to play him so they dont get destroyed. That build makes him feel strong enough to get a 4k.
With MMR aswell, its made people want to win a lot more. Minimum 1 out of 3 games now when im survivor has a killer using an iri addon and the other 2/3 games they're using strong addons now. I dont see people running yellow addons much anymore. People want to win, people want to play a new character and be viable.
The chains may be annoying to deal with, but they are weak and easy to counter. Would you still hate it as basekit if he hit you with a chain and it injured you and then downed you?

My advise is buy Pinhead, play him 10+ Trials (and as Killer), and see for yourself why he is considered trash.
I dont think you understand how bad the situation is between how easy Survivor is vs how hard Killer is (especially Pinhead).

People are waiting too long to solve the cube. You want to solve it when you still have about half of your bar. And I would say don't wait for a time to solve it. If he's running the add-ons to increase the amount of time for you to solve it then he'll be able to teleport if he wants to. Instead it's all about where to solve it. On top of a hill, or across from a window are good places to solve the cube.

"but because the chains were already spawning I straight up couldn't solve it without getting interrupted constantly."
I'm seeing a lot of players say this because they don't understand how the power works. Of course you're going to struggle if you don't know how the power works and make mistakes due to the lack of knowledge.
There's a delay in-between chain spawns and new ones can't spawn once you start solving the box. The only way for it to interrupt you is if it spawns right before you start solving as there's also a delay before it shoots from the portal.
When you want to solve the box make sure you dodge the next chain first then start solving as soon as you dodge it. Getting hit does not stop the spawn timer for the next chain afaik, so if you do get hit by a chain, break it and the follow-up chains, dodge the next chain, then solve.
Do not solve immediately upon pickup or spam solve, wait for the dodge.
The box, and by extension the chain hunt, is actually very easy to solve if Pinhead himself doesn't stop you. Hence why Hoarder became a popular perk for him in the first place.

I don't like playing against Pinhead either. In fact, I don't like facing any killer that either slows me down or prevent me from doing anything lmao

That's actually some solid advice there, I'll try it out and see if it helps me. :)
