New Killer Concept - The Leech
(The Leech is based on the vampire from the tome lore)
Time in-game when I started this concept: 145 hours
Time in-game when I finished this concept: 178 hours
Chapter #??: A Dark and Stormy Night
The Leech:
Terror Radius: 32 meters
Speed: 4.6m/s (115%)
Difficulty: Easy
Height: Tall (6 foot 10 inches)
Weapon: The Fang (a medium sized dagger with a snake-like blade)
Mori: The Leech pins the survivor to the floor and bites down on their neck, letting the blood pour freely. He puts a goblet up to the wound and drinks the collected blood.
--------
Power: Coffin Warp;
When the ability key is pressed while looking at and within 7 meters of a locker, it will be transformed into a Coffin. After a locker has been turned into a coffin, and as long as there is more than one coffin on the map, you may enter the locker and teleport to a coffin of your choosing (works similarly to Demogorgon’s Portals). The default limit of coffins you can have is 8, and when a new one is created while 8 are already on the map, the oldest coffin will be converted back into a locker. Warping between Coffins has a 6 second cooldown. Survivors can get rid of Coffins with a 15 second long animation, after which the Coffin (and the locker it was made from) will be destroyed.
--------
Special Attack: Feast;
Holding the active ability key while within 1 meter of a survivor in the dying state will let you feast on some of their blood. Doing so fills up a power gauge by 50%. You can only feast on a dying survivor once every time they are downed.
--------
Special Ability: Chiropteran Flight;
After filling the power gauge for Chiropteran Flight with Feast, you may press the secondary ability key to transform into a bat. While active, this ability runs its power gauge down at a rate of 10% per second. While flying as a bat, you cannot perform basic attacks, vaults, cannot kick generators, and cannot break pallets or walls. However, your movement speed is increased to 180% (6.4 m/s) and you can fly over pallets and through windows. It takes 3 seconds to emerge from this ability, and however much of the power gauge was left when you deactivated the ability will be kept.
--------
The Leech’s Teachable Perks:
Scourge Hook: Impaled: When a survivor is unhooked from a Scourge Hook, they are inflicted with Deep Wound and Hindered (-4%/-6%/-8%) movement speed). Hindered lasts for 2/3/4 seconds.
Hex: Hemophilia: Survivors in the Dying state bleed out 75%/100%/125% quicker, entity speed is increased by 50%/60%/70%, and Deep Wound puts survivors into the Dying state 30%/40%/50% faster.
Siphoned Strength: After hitting a survivor with a basic attack, gain the Haste status effect (+2%/+5%/+8% movement speed) for 2/3/4 seconds.
--------
New Survivor: Karzheek Fadlan
Character Model: Medium
General Noise Volume: Medium
--------
Teachable Perks:
Boon: Rejuvenation: Increase generator repair speeds by 10%/20%/30% while in range of a Boon totem with this perk active on it.
Right Behind You: When the Endgame Collapse has begun and there are 3 or less survivors remaining, Right Behind You activates. You suffer from the Exposed status effect for 40/30/20 seconds. Whenever you take a protection hit for another survivor, they gain the Endurance status effect for 4/6/8 seconds.
Boon: When All Seems Lost: This Boon is automatically applied to a random dull totem on the map when the Endgame Collapse begins and, when there are 2 or less survivors remaining in the trial, this perk activates. Generator repair speeds are increased by 75%/100%/125%. Additionally, the auras of the Exit Gates are revealed, and they can be opened 5%/10%/15% faster. If the hatch has spawned, its aura is revealed to you within 42 meters, unless it has been closed. However, totem cleansing and blessing speeds are decreased by 300%/250%/200%. (Important to note: You do not have to be in range of the totem with this Boon perk active on it to get these effects, but they will go away if it gets snuffed out.)
--------
Other than the Add-ons that will be coming soon, as is now customary, that’s it! Personally, I think my least favorite thing I made here is Syphoned Strength, as it seems only O.K.. I also feel that I could have done better for the effect I wanted from Right Behind You, as I wanted it to be that sort of heroic-sacrifice perk, where you put it all on the line for your teammates. Also, as you will see, there are 3 meme add-ons for The Leech. So if you want hella Bloodpoints, but also a harder challenge with such an easy killer, go for it. (And, for reference, the Add-on ‘Loyal Ivan” refers to the bat on his shoulder in the tome). I also nerfed Hex: Hemophilia just before posting, and I still feel like it could be too OP in combination with a previous perk I made, Hex: Maggot Meal. Feel free to gimme feedback on this stuff guys n' gals.
