Being hit while sprint bursting/adrenaline-ing

Ok so....why is it that when I play killer and I try to hit a survivor that Sprint bursts past me I just whiff, but when I play survivor and I do it I always get hit? Like #########? This is proof that the game isn't killer or survivor sided. It's whatever role I'm not playing sided. Some bullshit.

latency, just like how I get a hit right as a survivor vaults a pallet while on their screen they get hit right about as they reach the other side

just means you are holding it too long or have a bad connection

I've felt that too. Balanced players have like i-frames when they use theirs, but when I use mine I get hit through it every time, and it's not even a far lunge like Wraith's that they catch up to me with. I'd just like a little more consistency instead of getting the worst of both worlds.

The reason you wiff is probably because survivors in that state are faster then the hitbox cone that you shoot out when killers attack

The reason you get hit while you play survivor is probably latency. Killer being closer then they appear and either they already hit you before you sprint bursted away or they were right on top of you.

You just need to start running a bit earlier.

The main strength of Sprint Burst is it allows you turn any deadzone into a safe zone since you should be able to reach a pallet or vault before the killer can catch up.

I have this question for a long time but forgot to ask. If I sprint burst for 1sec and get hit, does 2sec speed boost from hit added with 2sec remaining from sprint burst (for a total of 4sec)?

That's why i gave up on SB. Same thing with Balanced Landing. As killer i can'hit mid-air but as Survivor i'm always hit mid-air.

Hmmmm I used to have this problem a lot more than I do now, I got used to running like ONE second sooner than I feel like I safely can and it usually works out

    No, what happens is this:

-You use Sprint Burst, increasing your speed to 6m/s (+2m/s) for 3 seconds.

-You get hit while using Sprint Burst, giving you another 2m/s boost for 3 seconds (I believe it's 3 seconds, if it's less then its less but the principle is the same).

While these overlap, the boosts stack, allowing you to run at 8m/s. If Adrenaline were theoretically to trigger in this time, you would be able to run at 10m/s, or 250%.
