Positive feedback for killers - Emphasise the hooks
Match 1: Killer gets looped for 6 minutes by one survivor. All gens are done, NOED pops, they down that survivor, hook them, camp them to death.
Match 2: Killer spreads his hooks out to avoid tunnelling/camping. Gets 9 hooks, kills only one.
Which of these two killers is the better player?
It's obviously the latter, since they were able to accomplish more. But this isn't reflected in -anything- outside of them having a higher BP score. One of the things that can be done to make killer feel a bit more rewarding, I suspect, is to emphasise hooks more in terms of audiovisual feedback for the killer. If it was a super close match, show it on the end-game screen.
Currently, the end-game just shows the names, ranks and perks of all players, and their BP score. I think a way to make killers feel a bit more rewarded is to have gashes on the rank icons of the survivors based on the number of times they were hooked. One moderate gash for a single hook, two deep, bloody gashes for someone who's on death hook.
Additionally, I'd love it if there was more of a sense of urgency if the killer is making strides towards a 4K. It'd be great if the trial grounds reacted with every X hooks by becoming more ghastly or oppressive. If you're running around with four survivors all on death hook, it shouldn't look like the gentle walk in the moonlight that it started out as. Add some urgency to let people know that the killer is running this match!
I think that one of the things that feels unrewarding about killer is that you basically get no recognition of any hooks you do get, you only get recognition for kills. A little positive affirmation I think can do wonders here. Nothing big, nothing gamebreaking, but some audiovisual tricks to make the game say 'you're killing it'.
