Here is how survivors can punish killers with sbmm😒
Little bit of a mini rant...
I was doing a killer daily (get a mori with plague). I am not that good with her so I decide to use rancor, corrupt, ruin, and thana. Wait 12 mi Tues for a match and get a matching bills swf lobby (2 tool boxes and 2 flashlights).
I go infecting gens trying to find survivors hiding out corrupts time. Ruin gets cleansed during this time.
Finally find a bill chase for a bit, drop chase, chase another bill, holding w and pre dropping pallets while tbagging and clicky clicking, infect and finally down him in the open. 3 gens done during these 2 chases.
Bait the pick up, hit another bill that was body blocking, go for the pickup (in the open field) flashlight blind. Another gen pops and down to one gen. Figure I will try next game go stand by exit gates. Last gen pops i open doors. Assuming Bills go to other exit gate.
Watch some YouTube will egc finishes.
So the Bill's did not leave and the entity kills them all.
So I get trolled and, because of how mmr works, my mmr goes up for it to happen again while the swf technically lost and can do it to a lower level killer?
Thoughts? (On the how mmr needs to be changed not my bad plague playing☹).
Also how is individual killer mmr not at least a 50 percent difference from your main killer? 1900 is max and 1700 is every individual killers base mmr?

They probably felt sorry for you and were giving you the kills.

They probably were but I wasn't having fun and was not going to get a mori at that point.
Instead i was punished for it by having a harder match the next game because of their "generosity".
I just gave up on the daily after the following game where I got 1 hook (already spent half 20 minutes of lobby waiting and about 12 minutes of actual game playing).

Ill do this but it's not to manipulate SBMM. I had a nurse who I believe was still learning her, she got a couple of good hits but unfortunately no hooks.... We were also on midwich 😠she never gave up though! So endgame 3 out of 4 of us ran to the sacrifice circle, gave her our items and let the entity take us

The sentiment is nice but the thing is you made her mmr go up at the end of the match. She will just run into a tougher team the following match.
If she was really learning and you wanted to be nice you should have let her practice or just escaped.
That is why this mmr is garbage...what should have been a nice gesture has the opposite effect.

5 games in still nothing yup thanks for setting the indiviual killer sbmm so high...played plague maybe 30 times total but swf should trounce me for playing killer🙄

Yes, it seems like sad singular events can happen with it but overall the majority of games will go normally without survivors suiciding like that. If you're an mmr you don't belong in then enough games will get you to where you need to be. I know it can be difficult to let go of the emotions of any particular match but it's important to remember that this system gets more specific with the amount of games so you just gotta keep on truckin' and believe that you'll end up where you ought to.

In a scenario where there's a four-stack that comes into the game with an intention to troll people, it doesn't really matter how the MMR decides who ranks up or down -- they will manipulate the system no matter what it is. In the old matchmaking, they had different ways to manipulate it -- like stacking up with someone who had a super low rank to try to skew their matches.
IMO, the problem isn't really SBMM so much as it's people entering the game with the intention to troll other people and not having any safeguards against that.

Well SBMM is a joke and everyone is going to go up. She deserves points like the rest of us, so she can get actual add-ons and perks for when she gets there

There is no individual per killer mmr in all honesty. Killers also can't really lose mmr so no matter what happens eventually you're getting capped at 1900 and doomed to the boredom of high mmr till the season ends.

1. Killers do have individual MMR. When MMR started and initial MMRs were set, existing players had their lowest killers "capped" at 200 below their highest killer. That's still a significant amount, equivalent to a having a rank 1 killer and a rank 5 killer.
2. 1900 is a soft cap, you can go above 1900 but you will be matched with everyone at and above 1900, until they raise the soft cap.
3. The season ends? What season?

Not really as long as you are not sweating to get 4 sacrifices each round you should fluctuate. For example I'm at a lower to medium MMR since I lose a lot meaning I don't get 4 sacrifices, sometimes I get zero and that's cool for me, because I don't try-hard at killer. Since I don't wanna get to a higher MMR to then have to face those sweat squads.
