It's in the game to avoid stalemates. Your objective is to kill survivors, not prolong the game indefinitely.

I don't have a problem with it. then again. why would you ever spend time kicking a gen unless you have a perk for it.

Fair implies that it's possible for gen tapping to be unfair, which is lopsided from the start.

When you add all the other unfair tactics such as bodyblocking then no its not fair as it adds to the advantages survivors have. At the same time, if the survivors aren't doing other obviously unfair tactics such as killer harassment, then I'm willing to just shake my head at it and let it slide for now since the game itself does nothing to prevent survivors doing it. But I view bodyblocking as being far worse since they are exploiting a weakness in hooking mechanics to interfere with killer objectives directly in an unfair way. I'm not a tech person so I don't know if the body blocking is something that would be fixable in the hook mechanics.

Survivors should take at least 3 seconds to stop the regression

You take your sweet 2 seconds of damaging a generator only for a survivor to instantly negate that during a chase, barely losing distance. It's an unfair mechanic and needs to be looked at.

The action of taking the precious 3s to make a generator regress be countered by a single tap... It's ######### up.

I don't feel like it's the worst thing in the game by far. But I don't feel like it should take 2-3 seconds to stop regression. A single full second would be fair. Game couldn't be held hostage, but it meant they'd actually have to commit at least a little bit before stopping it.

Generally speaking the act of doing it is fine cause it adds inefficiency into the game which is overall better for killers who can't do wind sprints. Probably shouldn't be able to tap a gen for less than two seconds to stop regression as the time invested on both sides should be rough equal to gain the desired effect. It would also prevent mid chase tapping, but overall it's fine

Yes but default regression could use a small buff.

No, you have to go through the whole animation for a survivor to click during a chase, secure the objective and escape the killer. It needs to go just like hatch got an adjustment, i can see this being looked at next
