Does the wraith need a mechanics overhaul?
This poll is looking to assess killers experiences as the wraith.. I Started playing wraith recently and noticed a few odd things. He is supposed to be a stealth killer with foundational near invisibility and suppressed terror radius when cloaked. However, the bell ring to unlock, without addons, is so long that there is zero chance of surprising anyone in time to get a. Surprise hit on them. Should this be overhaulded? Please comment below any ideas on how to best change this. Also comment below any tips you have or if I'm missing something about the way this currently works for wraith. Thanks.

I personally think Wraith's power should be adjusted or changed into something more interesting--not because of his power level, but just because he's honestly pretty boring to play in my opinion. His power is not something to wow over, but I believe that of Hillbilly as well. They're both just older Killers whose powers are a bit too simple and boring to use and don't result in exciting and fulfilling gameplay. I mean, if people thought Billy was a fun Killer to play, they'd still be playing him often after he received his overheat mechanic, however I've only seen him three times in the past 3 months. In my opinion, he was mostly played because he was strong, not because he was necessarily fun.
I'm not saying I have a better idea for them by any means. I just feel like they could both be updated in a more meaningful way rather than just continuing to tweak their addons and values.

No I don't have a problem at all with how it currently is
9/10 times for me if the survivors dont have spinechill its pretty easy for me to get a free hit thanks to the speed boost coming out of uncloaking.

Wraith's just a simple Killer that's good at what he does. The devs should learn from what they did with Wraith (and now Plague too) and apply that philosophy to other Killers they change in the future.

If Survivors can't handle a Wraith, they are bad. Nothing else to say.

If I've ever seen a poll that's more biased I honestly can't remember it. And the fact that it got so consistently dunked on is just the cherry on top.

How you figure this poll was biased? I stated my own experience then asked my question. I'm not looking for others to agree with me. I'm looking for other people's experiences, their tips, suggestions, and whether or not they think the wraith needs an overhaul. The answers options listed in the poll are equal and fair in their range of answers. There is even a " meh.. " answer for those who don't care either way.
Yes I see how most replies think the wraith is fine as it is. OK great. I'm not complaining that most replies do not agree with my own perceived experience. So again, how was this question biased?

well to be fair billy was fun to play as and against, but after the rework he is only fun to play against because they took a lot of the fun out of him. even if he was a bad killer people would still play him if he was fun, but he isn't anymore I used to play billy, but after the rework he is painful to play in high mmr just isn't fun anymore.

Wraith has already gotten the changes he needed and he's in a much better spot than he used to be when the game first came out in 2016.
Had this forum existed and you had made this thread back then you might have garnered more support.
It's not an issue now though as Wraith is a figured-out killer: people know the playstyle to effectively use Wraith, strategies which lean into his strengths and compensate for weaknesses, power + perk synergy, etc. If you've got a problem with Wraith it's probably because you need more practice.

Maybe reduce the range of the bell but that's all I can think of.

Little tip: the Wraith sounds his bell starting at half his uncloaking animation, which means the first half is silent. If you start uncloaking behind a wall and emerge only after the bell sound you give survivors a lot less time to react to your presence.
