Why is video evidence needed to report a cheater?
It’s the first time I’ve encountered a game that needs to record a video to report a cheater. I really memorize the preivious support team when it only had two crews: Vorfidus and Alex.
At that time no matter you attached the video or not, even if the processing time was a bit long, they could still be wiiling to work for your ticket. But now though the support staff is enrolled more members, but the video is necessary for a report.
Let alone whether everyone would like to play the game with an OBS or Nvidia record in the background, the video submission requirement is also totally #########. If your video is probably bigger than 50-100M, it will crash because of time out. So what is the report working for? How I report a cheater that I suspect he uses wallhack?

You have to prove someone is hacking, plus you don't have to keep a recording software on the entire time, if you have an Nvidia card you can use the replay system, you can find more information about it here:
And when you have to attach it to the ticket, you can just upload it to Youtube as unlisted and post the link in the description.

As Rizzo90 said, you have to prove they were cheating as they probably gets false reports from salty survivors or killers that were sore that they lost or accused of lag switching when their Internet may have just had a hiccup, gone bad or going a bit haywire.
The amount of people who say they have reported for camping as 'It's not taking part in actual gameplay' or whatever the report for that is would lead to lots of unnecessary bans if not proven.
This is why people were worried when they spoke of a bot deciding on a ban depending on the number of reports they got.

Because bhvr can not make replay system like in any other pvp game so game mod can just check replay and decide if person deserves a ban or not and leave it to us to mess with recording and huge report forms

The GeForce thing does not work with the gamepass version of the game.

I think that's an issue in general with Gamepass games, not only Dbd, but knowing that, you can use different softwares to record, like OBS.

Is a screenshot of the scoreboard enough proof, if the survivor has a 'hacked' item?
Like if a survivor brought a flashlight that had gel dressings for example
