Anyone else feeling like this game is getting a little stale? :c
I have been trying to enjoy playing games on dbd, but honestly, everything just feels a little boring lately, I am wishing there was something major coming like to make things new again. I don't feel like boons are going to make me feel as excited or feel like things are being spiced up.
Like don't get me wrong I love the new strong perks coming and the buffs to perks I only used in specific builds, but I just don't feel like all that is going to make the game feel fun.

I am enjoying the game a lot, but i do take breaks from the game often enough as well. Its not the most varied game when it comes to gameplay.
I definitely would love to see some more fundamental changes to the game. I still have a bit of hope that the mori changes will have an impact, since they mentioned that they would be built into base kit and their will be some form of interaction for survivors to prevent them.
But just more perk buffs, or even a few nerfs would help give the game more variety. The perk meta we have right now isn‘t all too varied. Which is why I am looking forward to the boon perks and buffed retribution and blood favor.

Over 5yrs and counting and this game is still as fun and exciting as it as been since beta

Absolutely agreed, new chapters don't even feel new anymore. I feel like I fell into a routine of almost always exclusively playing dbd for years and even though I got bored, it was just "the game I played" in my mind. I've been branching out to more games recently and kind of forgot how much fun I used to have gaming. I'm holding out and staying updated with the game for a while before I uninstall but if nothing new (other than characters and perks) is added, I don't really see myself holding onto dbd anymore.
It's sad. I want to love this game the way I used to, the way I still love other games I used to play, but this one in particular just got boring

Old dbd bugs were the best

I honestly feel like Boon Totems and the Halloween event will spice things up.

I need way more challenges. I am almost done with old tomes and when Im done, I have nothing else to do.
Playing is the same game mode over and over is boring for a while

We could make the ground ice so you slide a bit. A little quicksand so you start moving slower. Ice covered sand so you slide and if aren't moving can break through it a bit and get the slow down and sliding.
Wouldn't even need to really adjust the map themselves just a couple icons if an ice block and/or sand castle on the HUD. It could be either around objectives or everywhere but right around them. Maybe both sometimes. It'd allow even more offerings and RNG.
How about mystery objectives each trial that you don't know about until end game.
How about a fedex mode and no left turns/strafes
Maybe in trial only addons that do different things. You can't buy em or bring em out with you but you get something a fair amount of the time to use or lose that round.

I've been kind of bored of the game since chapter 21 release but i think that's largely because it's just one killer. But I am more excited for this upcoming mid-chapter than i have been with anything else in my 5 months of playing.

They said that about Mori? I don't play Killer, but it's exciting. I want more stress in the end game. It feels like, as a Survivor, you hide while someone open a door, they get chased, and I can finish to 99% the door. And everyone go back to the hook to make a save. Open the door. Bye.
I liked the new No Way Out, but I've seen it only once since its rework. It made the end game more interesting. Escaping is fine, it's kind of my objective as Survivor. But man, I wish it was more exciting for both sides.

Yea, the spice will be added to the spaghetti code and give us more game breaking bugs.

The core gameplay (generators, hooks, totems) needs to be altered drastically. The game is getting stale because holding M1 on a gen for 80 seconds isn't exactly fun, neither is getting gen rushed.
