BBQ auras not showing?

Most of my games as killer I run BBQ, so I know the perk pretty well, but recently, I stopped trusting it as the auras seem to be very inconsistent. Just now, I saw the aura of a survivor healing someone else, but no one being healed, and I checked after the match and saw none of them had any aura hiding perks.

    If it was a one off, potentially they were right on the 40m line, the survivor being healed was at 39m and the survivor healing them was at 41m.

    BBQ has limits, that's why I don't think it is that good as some people try to claim.

    They can be too close (probably your case), they can be inside locker, they can hide with perks and they can also hide behind gens.

    Last time I checked bbq still worked against slugged survivors 😏


    Yeah I feel like sometimes it trips out, but most of the time its okay.

    Yeah, if no aura perks for sure were in play, then they were each on one side of the 40m range of the hook.

    Remember that lockers also hide the aura, as you seem to make this sound like a reoccurring thing you're facing.
