Am I the only one having these problems where if I play killer gens fly so fast I can barely keep up, . The things is I get down pretty fast and check gens but they still fly . when I play survivor the teammates are not that good and refuse to gens while I’m the only one doing them . I get discouraged from playing killer because it can get frustrating at times.

Some games are just meant to lose. If survivors appear spread out and at least 3 can hop on 3 different gens, you have no chance without corrupt that at least 2 gens will be done when you hook one.
That happens to really good players as well, but that does not mean you can not win anymore, just that you have much more pressure to get things done.

You have to learn that some maps can't be played just running around hooking survivors.
So we have maps that you need to:
Azarov's Resting Place -> choose one half of the map + middle gen and never leave.
Sanctum of Wrath -> again, choose one half + middle gen.
Raccoon City Police Station -> some as above, one side + middle gen.
The Underground Complex -> don't bother defending top gen.
Dead Dawg Saloon -> again, it is usually better to let them finish top gen and setup 3-gen behind shack / hangman, where you can get huge deadzone.
Groaning Storehouse -> you have two gens in corners of the map, that are really far. So it is often better to ignore those too.
On most maps, you will have gens that are really close (your 3-gen) and you usually wanna defend that area a lot against good survivors. Then you have gens with big distance from other gens and those you usually want to let survivors repair. You can defend it with Ruin tho.
You have maps where you can get away with just chasing whoever you see, if you have good enough killer for it.

This is the best tip for prolonging a game to give a better chance of success.
As well as this, also keep survivors doing anything but gens by slugging 1 survivor, injuring a few if you have the chance and hooking survivors in areas which can either be used as an alert (e.g.: a hook by a gen) or far away from objectives, which makes rescuers have to travel further.
Also, I know some people don't advise the basement, but if you are given a map which has gens close to eaxh other by the basement, use it. You can control a lot that way.

Yeah, also one really good tip I like is kinda guideline:
If you are not getting anything for 15 seconds (pallet, hit, down), then just leave that chase.
And most important thing:
Never give up
It is always possible to win, when survivors make mistake. Even when they don't, you will practice chases at least.

Gens are going to fly, just do what you can. If you care about getting kills, I suggest tunneling someone out of the game A$AP.

Yeah, but, if you're going to run away from chase then why play killer?
If you're not going chase, might as well play survivor. I'd personally rather engage and lose than just protect a part of the map.

I will probably get more chases than if I would commit to every chase I can -> longer game = more chases. I am just not going to always commit on down, but I usually go for hit, or some pallets at least.
I actually don't like killers that play like me, because I want to have chases as survivor, so I want them to commit on me to have some fun, but I know they are going to lose, if they do it. By your comment you are probably stealthy survivor, so we just have completely different approaches.
You can play however you want, but OP said he has issue with gens, so I gave him advice how to win more games.
I have coached lot of players for both sides and this is advice that usually helps most. It actually helps both sides to know about this.

I actually wish I was a stealthy survivor, but alas I am not. I enjoy chases on both sides, so that is what I engage in. I think you are right, on "wins", but that is subjective. If you want more kills, then less chases is probably for the best. I know when I first started, all I cared about was 4ks, but after years of those, IDC anymore. I play for my fun, which are chases.

This. So many killers throw games from the start by trying to actually play entire maps while also not running Corrupt Intervention. Corrupt is mandatory against efficient survivors. And many maps are unplayable in their entirety due to size/layout. You need to play half the map and proxy.
