I was thinking what if they reworked trill of the hunt to do something else and made it so you get a notification when it was getting cleansed. I feel like if you could at lest know when your totems where under attack you could at lest defend them a little better. So what do you guys think?

Thrill of the Hunt already alerts the killer whenever a hex totem is being cleansed.

I'm aware of that. That's why I suggests they change th perk and make it more of a passive that way if the hex gets cleansed it's not two wasted perk slots

So basically make Thrill into normal perk

It would be nice if killers knew which totems were which.

Like at the very least Haunted Grounds totems appeared blue or yellow or green rather than red.

I agree that it would be a simple but nice buff if you:

Could see the aura of your totems since right now it is nearly invisible at times.
Could distinguish each totems respected perk.

Not only would this make it easier for killers to know what totems they should protect but it would also give a "mindgame" aspect as survivors could also pick up on what totems the killer is prioritizing over another. This could also be a trick that the killer is hoping the survivors pick up on.

I would say rather than make Thrill a "baseline perk" that Hex totems should simply take a little longer to cleanse by default and Thrill can still keep its notification and time increase. maybe make it so Thrill itself doesn't get the baseline hex increase so that it become a priority to cleanse also, since right now people will ignore Thrill.

Or you can keep it as a hex and make it a combination of dying lore and daughter grounds. If you cleans the wrong dull totem you'll get like a permit 50% cleansing rebuff. Just spit balling btw

I just ran a match with devour hope and trill devour hope was gone within a minute and they never touched another totem pretty much had two empty perk slots. I really like the idea for different color araus because I couldn't find one of the totems on the map do to them blending so well
