Question with next update
Was the pinhead box solving bug fixed in the ptb?
For people who don't know while solving the box chains continue to spawn so you keep getting interrupted so you can never solve the box.

Nah they fixed this in one of the recent hotfixes
The chains stop when you start solving the box and after you've endured the first three random chains I think? Deactivating the chains by holding m1 puts them on a cooldown which is then when you can activate the solve interaction which permanently pauses them

Then the bug is back because I had it happen last night

It is a bug or you would never be able to solve the box

You can if you get lucky/solve it in a tight area. It can be interpreted as a penalty for not solving the box sooner.

Make a clip and attach it to the bug report.
keep in mind the chains are supposed to spawn while you are carrying the box and if one chain already spawned when you start the solving interaction that chain will interrupt you.
