SBMM should not exist on DBD

Before this completely unnecessary implementation, the game was actually casual. We as killers took some hard matches, some medium ones, some easy ones. It was well balanced and is what a casual game translates to. After implementing SBMM all matches without exceptions are extremely frustrating and difficult. The game has lost its essence.

sometimes you find good survs sometimes you find the worst survs in existence even if u won a match or you lost it, it doesnt really matter that much so it is indeed worthless, a bad addition to this game, at least for the killer side, for the survivor side wasnt that bad, since solo q is plenty more playable than used to be (used to be impossible to get decent teammates, now is possible to get decnet teammates) but the trade off for the killer was terrible.

It makes queues incredibly long and makes games ridiculously unfun at the higher levels. The lack of balance as a whole really shows, but at the end of the day who really cares about high MMR players or high MMR balance? As long as the other 95% of the population isn't complaining, statistically speaking I'd call that a win /s

Close games in this game.. really don't feel like it was close. If you're going 2/2 as a killer my guess is you probably didn't have fun in that match. But that apparently = balance.

There is no good reason to have something like SBMM in this game unless you actually want to balance the game around it being played well, which BHVR don't want to do, or don't know how to do.

The result is an extremely frustrating experience for casual players, because players that aren't that casual will use whatever poorly designed bullshit they can get their hands on. The experience for more competitive players is horrid just the same because not only do they have to deal with hackers all the time, they also have to face the game's bullshit instead of their opponent's skill, over and over, and over again until they either quit or stop caring.

SBMM would be good if it were actual Skill-based Matchmaking instead of Escape-based as it is now.

Look at it this way, the devs are constantly saying that they are making decisions based on the data they see. If true, they should see the problems and, hopefully, balance the game in the right direction. This system should give them better data than the old system. We will have to wait and see if they do something, or if the whole data reasoning was just BS excuses for the changes they have made in the past.

I wouldn't say the old system was balanced. Far from it but it was better than what we got now. Before I could have a chance of having a chill match. Now it's always going to be a try hard match.

The old system is way way more balanced than the SBMM.

Behaviour just don't want killers to have fun anymore.

Today I played 6 games (learning to play with my huntress), all 6 were extremely tiring with all survivors having an average 3k hours played.

In the past I easily played more than 15/16 matches a day after work and had fun. Today's I've closed dbd after the 6 matches and I don't fell like playing anymore.
