Like how we are trying to save the world by bad mouthing Ethereum when Bitcoin, being more popular, uses far more energy per transaction.
Ethereum: 166.99kWh per transaction
Bitcoin: 1719.51kWh per transaction
I wonder how much carbon we introduced by moving to dedicated servers over p2p? 🤔
I'm more concern that people are getting ripped off by NFT scams. But as far as DBD goes there's no NFTs or exclusive content. So until that changes, I don't give damn.

Personally I'm just bad-mouthing BHVR's endorsement of the current state of NFT's
If they started to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment that'd be a whole worse mess.

there is NO use for crapto or nfts at all. all they are 'promising' to do is stuff that has been done before through newsletters, or heck even 'donating' small amounts of actual money to a company.
There is literally no advantage to that stuff. at all.

same here. i was on the forum and then went to my next class, and 40 minutes later i checked the forum again and the whole forum was filled with NFT complaints

The problem with these calculations is that some of the energy used for multiple transactions is redundant. 100 transactions doesn't mean 100x the power is being used. Need more expansion on all this.
