I think this is it for me.
After seeing how BHVR blatantly lied to us and gave in to a cash grab that is environmentally, morally and financially despicable, I really can't bring myself to supporting their game anymore. Hell, chances are the game will be ruined anyway with the multitude of factors this brings like the possible Steam ban or the rise of VHS from DBD's burning ashes. If somehow the devs manage to resolve this in a satisfactory way I'll come back and play- I've given more to this game than I have any other- but until that niche scenario, I cannot play, endorse nor support this game in anyway shape or form.
I'd like to thank you all, the community, for the laughs and good times I've had in this game. The fun and sportsmanlike players, the intelligent and creative creators, hell even the trolls and cheaters who made me laugh when they didn't target me- I'll remember you all fondly whenever I think of this game. I'll stick around on the forums for a while to see what actions BHVR takes, but until then- goodbye DBD.
*Alright, lets find a new game to play. Maybe the one I was playing before DBD- it's been almost 3 years, but hey- what could have possibly happened to Overwatch in that time?*

it perturbs me that they're going into 1.19 details before 1.18 is even out while also punting 1.18 things to 1.19
mojang is just kind of clueless in general, probably some of the well-est paid vg dunces around, 'least the product (when heavily modded) is nice

They do better with youtube's algorithm. A veteran player is less likely to look at a guide, and a super advanced guide is going to be very information-dense. It's why every Nurse guide is "hold M2 to charge your blink" and "blink to where you last saw the survivor". An advanced Nurse guide is a 30 minute thesis and not many content creators even play the game at that level.

the c version of minecraft sure, but that has the capacity to be modded of an apple product
the java one is pc only and while not as nice performance-wise has p much all the mod scene + lack of marketplace [sheesh]

Eh... I have been playing for the Halloween event and I do not see going back to it as my main game until Overwatch 2. If you think this game has no content or is toxic, you are about to get whiplash.

Meh, you're probably right. What about ACNH? That was fun, plus they're getting a huge update in a couple weeks! It's so calm and relaxing, I'm sure that game will never face the issue of people selling and buying digital media for hundreds of IRL dollars!

I'll be completely honest, I just stopped playing Overwatch because I didn't think the new heroes were that interesting and I got heavy burnout on the game.
