MMR

So how is everyone experiencing the system? I usually try to be low as I don't like competitive games. But I am unsure if it works. No matter how many times in a row I die I still get good killer players. Even though I make sure that I die every game there is no change notable but that my fellow survivors do questionable things... . Any ideas?

Any different experiences?

It seemed like it was working, at first, but now it seems kind of sketchy. Sometimes I get good teammates, but more often than not, I get bad ones. Then, I either go against baby killers or fully geared try hard killers. I'm not really seeing it balance out like it should. The fact that it is just based on escapes and kills, rather than the skilled based MMR they promised, is really a let down. It makes me wonder why it took them so long to implement such a basic system.

I am starting to doubt that the system actually works like that. I've been dying like 15 games in a row to see if something changes -nothing-. Still the same kind of killer. I am starting to wonder if they are telling us the truth.

I'm actually starting to think that it only applies for survivors. I get killers with perks from recent characters like lethal pursuer on wraight (for example) level 3 playing pretty good and teammates with urban, spinechill + dark sense and technician or selfcare... .

Kinda unfun and unfair (I eighter run the killer till nearly all gens are done and I get facecamped or don't get saved with the other 3 escaping or I kill myself on first hook as soon as I see 2 or even all 3 of them crouching in the corner of a map with 3-4 K's).

That... Sounds like it is working? If you are running the killer for that long, they aren't that good, or the gens are flying. But if survivors are impersonating rank 20 survivors... Pretty clear it is the former.

Sounds like you’re usually the strongest player and the game throws you in with three scrubs to “balance out” going against a good killer.
