We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

Anyone know when Kindred is gonna be a base part of the game?

Im assuming it would be in the winter update?

It is a good idea against swf.
swf can already tell, so why should non swf not be able to?

it seems like they figured out it wasn't a good thing
the devs say they're gonna do a lot of things, but never do them
free kindred would also probably be something you wouldn't want either, because it would come with significant killer buffs and would most likely end up being a net loss for survivors in terms of power.

Could you explain? Also most of the things the devs haven't done are because of the normie stuff like they're too busy or whatever. Kindred is already IN the game, they would just have to make it a base component on survivors.

And? Hiding the killers perks and add-ons would be a pretty quick fix but they haven't done it for years.
Not to mention giving survivors base kindred would need A LOT of extra balancing.

You have a good point with that one, but I dont see the need for extra balancing. It's like if every survivor ran Kindred in a match already. It gives an advantage to random survivors so SWF aren't 'op'.

Kindred is a must in my solo build, although i'd love to have it for free and use that slot for something else i think it would be too much.
Some survivors should learn already that there are other useful perks which let the whole group to work more efficiently and start to use them, because focusing on the objectives gives to the whole group more chances to survive instead of messing around.

IF kindred becomes a base mechanic they need to buff/change insidious. The perk THEY made for camping yet they see camping as a thing of satan. But whatever just another useless perk getting nerfed is all.

    Who knows?

But it should only be implemented when killers get a hefty buff to compensate.

    It wouldn't.
Devs cant prevent survivors from talking with each other but give the sole survivors chances the swf survivors have and buff killers to a level where everyone has fun without restriction.

Right now everyone acts like SWAT SWFs never happen.
The devs show no intention to buff killers accordingly, assuming that solo survivors are lift up to SWF lvl.

Once the devs have figured out how they can balance the game aroudn SWF, then they can add ingame voice comms and apply these balancing changes. Thats the only proper solution to this problem

Ingame voice comm is not needed.
There are a lot different options to pick to make sole survivor experience better.

There is no way to properly compensate for real time communication, introducing voice comms is the natural way to fix this problem and its also the easiest one to balance

Well obviously the game will need additional balancing. Just buffing solo survivors will make most killers a little less viable. But this is something they absolutely need to do, in fact kindred isn't the only perk that swf pretty much have equipped without using a perk slot. Equipping Bond for example is also more or less useless in a 4 man swf, because they can just communicate where they are. Also, pretty sure survivors are only considered the stronger role because of swf.
They need to buff solo survivors and then balance the game around swf, buffing all the weaker killers, or you know, maybe finally giving us a gen rush nerf (in conjunction with some smaller killer nerfs of course), which people have been asking for.
