Dying Light rework idea.
I don’t really want the old DL back because it caused survivors to disconnect because of the toxic playstyle it promoted. My version of the perk incentives the killer to get as many hooks as they can in order to make the most out of the perk by doubling those stacks. It gives the killer a choice that will have an impact on the rest of the game and that effect is determined by how much you did before killing the obsession. So instead of advertising tunnelling it becomes similar to STBFL where you want as many stacks as possible but aren’t necessarily punished for doing your objective and killing the obsession so it is really up to you on agglomerating enough tokens in order to get a huge effect later in the game or determining how many is enough since gaining a huge effect too late into the round would mean defeat and straight up tunnelling would give you no value out of the perk. Also when I say close I mean 8 metres and no more than that; this way Survivors can do gens together without the penalty but are… well, grouped up which benefits killers such as The Legion.
