Killswitch Feature - Don't pick and choose when you use it for something that is broken.
I bet the vast majority of players don't read these forums or follow DBD on twitter. You have an iridescent addon that is broken and you know about it. You bragged in multiple posts about the Killswitch and how easy it is to turn things on and off...You should use it for this addon for people who will waste an addon and their time playing a game with Pig that has no traps, encourage people to play more killers don't shaft them by letting them walk in at a disadvantage that will just send them back to the same 2-3 meta killers.
The following items are not disabled, but the team is aware of a noteworthy bug and working on a fix.
ADD-ON: Video Tape
Reason: This add-on spawns Reverse Bear Traps (RBTs) on all Survivors at the start of the match. However, these RBTs do not activate when a generator is powered like they're supposed to, making the add-on ineffective. We would advise against using this add-on for the time being, but as it does not negatively impact the match for other players, it has not been kill switched at this time.

It's only negatively affecting Pig players. They're more likely to find a way to nerf Amanda's Letter than to fix or acknowledge a problem with Video Tape.

BHVR acknowledged that there's a problem with the Video Tape add-on: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/299
They just didn't disable it, and I agree with OP that they should disable it because letting players waste an iridescent add-on when you know it's broken is not a nice way to treat your playerbase.

Let me rephrase: "they're less likely to tangibly acknowledge it, meaning do something positive for a killer they actively ignore without outside impetus and a concurrent fix to roll out."
