Doesn't mean anything tho... a Killer that has a Main has a unique power that alters the playstyle from other killers.

Survivors have nothing that makes them different. Your choice in Survivor is a Cosmetic. Taller/smaller/darker/lighter that's it.

My thought is pick 1 perk per survivor. Make it Unique to that survivor. This is now ONLY a Dwight, or ONLY a Cheryl, etc perk. The rest of the perks remain teachable/tradable but now when you say you mostly play a Survivor it MEANS something. :)

Let me know what you think and what Perks you'd choose as uniquely ________.

Meg's are Sprinters for example... (as a Killer Main that I'm not in a good position to choose them ;) )

OR (since the initial rush of heck no's) What about adding a NEW skill that is like a perk but isn't tradeable/teachable to all existing and future Survivors?

Something NEWfor each that adds flavor and dimension.

Would your favorite Survivor by any chance have their own Teachable that you primarily use? Or would you be willingly locking yourself into another Survivor that you don't main to use your favorite Perk?

I'd willingly use the survivor that has the perk I want to use. My point is that right now "I'm a Nea main" doesn't mean ANYTHING because anyone can use all of her perks... yanno?

Uh, I mean it means you main Nea. You like her Character, her Outfits, Lore, whatever.

If you want to talk about your favorite game mechanics you can just simply say what your favorite Perk loadout is. Your favorite Exhaustion Perk, you love being a chaser, gen-jockey, Hook rescuer, etc.

What, next you want to lock Items to Character too so you can use fewer words to say what Items you like?

Maybe only Dwight can hide in Lockers, and only David can use Pallets. Sounds good to me.

    Hell no,

I really don't wanna have survivor character meta. It's bad enough that height and sounds are different. You know, Jeff main here...

It would be stupid to make big differences between survivors.

You would actually have to lock how many same survivor characters you have in lobby...

I think survivor choice should stay mostly cosmetic, just let people look however they want.

Also a Jeff main here. Iron Will being locked to Jake would be... unpleasant.

I main Quentin. QUENTIN DAMMIT. I don't want to lose the option to run perks I like just so I can run a character I like.

Also it would be really gross to have a Bill/Laurie/David meta just because they're the ones with the meta perks.

It would be less of an issue if they'd done passives for survivors from the start, but you can't tell people who have one charactrer p3-50 with every perk maxed out "Oh, by the way, your character is objectively worse now, and you need to spend several million bloodpoints to be at the same point you were already at."

    Heck no.

I'd LOVE locking out duplicates of Survivors... Jeff's aftercare is very distinctive, so's the hookbreaker when you're unhooked.

I am not spending my bloodpoints to actively level up someone else because the Survivor I currently play as can no longer use X and/or Y perk.

No, bad enough that killer variety is low.
