Sprint burst lasting too long

My friends have been playing with sprint burst (console players) and hes got in two random games where sprint burst randomly lasted about 5-8 seconds or so - he told me and i could see it with kindred. It happened on ormond and yamaoka. I havent had the bug happen to me at all and ive been running sprint burst.

It appeared to not be triggered by anything in particular! Really weird!

    Nope, we are playing as friends, he used his sprint burst as normal and just kept running, it was on ormond i saw him with kindred and crossed 3/4 of the map with sprint burst going for the rescue. He even was surprised and i said i can see him doing it! It went on for ages, speaking to him now as we play he said it was about 10 seconds long sprint burst.

    Im wondering if this is also being confused with some of the cheating going on?
