We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

I remember the patch taking forever, it was frozen for 15min till it started to download and even then felt like i was downloading 10gb when i clearly wasn't. Once i was patched, i loaded in, spent all my blood points, loaded up as killer (Pyramid Head), got into a lobby and then got infinite load screen while waiting to load into the arena.

tried it once happened once, had to force quit to get out of the infinite loop. I haven't tried again since waiting for you to fix what seems like a widely documented issue.
