[Edited] Killer Idea: The Outcast [Abandoned but not Forgotten]
Name: Elias Roy Kavanagh
Realm: Kavanagh’s Bedlam
Power: Faded Memories
Weapon: The Jimmy Bar [Crowbar]
———
The Outcast’s Perks:
-There you are: Finding survivors fills you with such glee as being lonely sucks. If a survivor enters your line of sight, all survivor auras within 40/50/60 meters are revealed for 3 seconds.
-Failure is no Option: Survivors constantly escaping your grasp, hooks, and chase upsets you. The range of your aura reading increases by 5 meters every time a survivor escapes from you, up to a maximum.
-That’s not nice: Survivors who hit you with pallets or blind you with flashlights are playing a dangerous game. Damage done to you increases your movement speed by 3/4/5%, up to a maximum.

Power: Faded Memories
The Outcast casts forward dark apparitions [Known as The Faded] that will seek out any nearby survivors. These spirits will slowly trudge around the map, crying, giggling, and twitching about. When they come across a survivor they will unleash a petrifying laugh before shuffling towards them with incredible speed. When The Faded catch a survivor, they will jump-scare them and cause the survivor to scream, revealing their aura, and giving them a 2 second speed penalty. The Outcast can have maximum of 10 Faded active at any given time.
Survivors can shine their flashlight towards them, killing them; stay outside their terror radius (Same as killers); or hide in lockers when one is nearby.

Background [In a nutshell]:
Elias was a smart kid who suffered from depression, anxiety, and an inferiority as a result from the verbal abuse he suffers from his father. The only people who care about him are his mother, his uncle (on his mother’s side) Arthur, and his same-ages cousin, Abby; Abby is the most caring out of all of them.
When he turned 15, Elias went down into the basement and discovered that his parents are drug dealers. His mother tried to get him away before his father finds him: too late. Elias rushed upstairs and locked himself in his room. His father tries breaking the door down with a crowbar while his mother tries to stop him. Elias’s father kills his mother and hides the body. Elias cries himself to sleep and wakes hours later to Arthur and Abby knocking in his door.
Arthur says that according to his father, Elias’ mother went on “vacation” and that he’s dropping her off at the airport. Elias tells Abby who then tells Arthur that he thinks his father hurt her. Arthur gives Elias’ father a warning.
Elias later sets a trap for his father and ambushes him with his crowbar, killing him. Arthur discovered the body a week later and after months passed, Elias was transported to Crotus Prenn Asylum, specifically the psych ward known as Bedlam.
Abby visits him twice a week for 5 years before her visits eventually stop for some reason (Read Abby’s story) and Elias goes insane. Everybody’s favorite nurse, Sally Smithson goes bonkers and kills an inmate who tried to free Elias with, guess what, a crowbar. She gives him the crowbar and runs off, allowing Elias to free himself. Bedlam is later abandoned and Elias becomes the king, killing off any opposers and innocents who enter during an 8-year period (making him 28). He breaks down and cries one day before seeing a ghostly apparition that resembles Abby. First he’s happy, then he’s mad because he felt abandoned by Abby and swings his crowbar at the apparition. The apparation.
The apparition turns into black smoke and engulfs Elias, transporting him into a forest. He gets up and sees Abby, along with a few other people, a couple meters away around a campfire.

Chapter Trailer Idea:
[1st Person P.O.V.] A survivor is searching through a chest in a busted cell when they hear another survivor screaming. They exit the cell and turn left around corner and stop dead in their tracks. They see a dark silhouette of the killer walking down the hall, away from them. They try to make no sound and prepare to sneak past the killer before hearing a loud bang to their left.
The survivor’s P.O.V. quickly snaps to their left as they see the actual killer standing only a few meters down the hall, who then bangs his crowbar on a cell bar a second time. The survivor gasps and turns to their right only to be rushed down by the silhouette as it laughs maniacally.
The screen quickly turns to black, as it then flashes to info screen while The Outcast giggles sinisterly in the background.

Mori:
The Outcast cripples the survivors leg with a single crowbar strike before turning them onto their back. He then pounces on them and presses his crowbar onto their throat, leaning close into their face while laughing. He then stops choking them and plants the straight end of the crowbar straight into the survivor’s face.
