Killer mains… Have you ever been bullied by Survivors?
Curious to know if you have any stories of survivors being a bully and how did you handle it?

Not really... Not one that I remember anyways

Around the time of The Chains of Hate Mid chapter I got the game. I played a match with Trapper it was alright, Played Wraith, pretty fun, Tried Doctor and had a blast, Then I tried Nurse. I'm on the Switch, I get into a lobby, there's four Claudette's with the same exact cosmetics, They burn a Coldwind Offering, I don't want to talk about it.

i have played this game for over 4.700 hours, yeah i have definitely encountered quite a few of these bully groups.
though i dont destinctly remember any specific one, there is nothing better than them underestimating you and the bullying backfiring on them xD
i think my absolute favourite memory is of one guy who was running old OoO to get my (Deathslinger - RIP :c) attention and i just wiped the floor with him. It got to the point where he hid in a locker for the rest of the game to counter his own Perk from revealing him to me xD

Everyone has been bullied. But I prefer telling the stories of people attempting to bully because just talking about actually being bullied is just boring. Everyone has had it happen.

I did when I was still very new to the game. I was playing Nurse against good survivors and couldn’t catch anyone. They were insulting me in the post game chat even though I said I was new to the game. People are just sick man.

Every game a survivor is on a power trip when I’m playing bubba.. How do I handle it? I camp them and keep swinging on them till they die. If it’s their whole team. Then I slug them all, but I don’t hook them. I wait for all them to bleed out. Takes longer and gives them time to think, if they dc they get nothing. So it’s a win win for me. Idc if the entity is displeased with that. There need to be some form of retention. And bhvr won’t give you that.

Having played the game since 2017 I have gotten bullied a billion times by now.
However the number of horrible real life experiences I've gone through in the meantime have made it so I really don't care whether I get curbstomped or not. No match can be worse than what life has to offer.

The most recent experience I had of an actual bully squad:
- 2 Survivors with Flashlights and Head on
- Spam the lockers to get my attention (2 next to each other)
- One of their friends had No-Mither on for some reason
If you tried to grab them: the other would pop out and flash light save.
If you stood near it; they would come out and head on stun you and hop back in.
How I handled it;
- Played along, waiting for a mistake on their end as they almost always do.
- The moment I got one down, stood above him, looked down and guess what survivor 3 showed up.
- Hit the 3rd survivor and managed to down the first of the initial 2.
- Pretty much just slugged them and camped their bodies, the guy with no mither showed up smacked him and hooked him asap.
- Slapped down the guy that got picked up.
- Got an injure on the 4th.
- Had to deal with an unbreaking so 1 on hook, 1 on floor
- Landed a nice shot (playing deathslinger) and got the 3rd down.
- Chased the other guy and down him.
Then I let them bleed to death, I normally never do... but these guys pretty much had it coming and the audacity to complain afterwards, if you want to BM and go out of your way with builds and such to make the opponents life as miserable as possible you should expect the same in return.

During the Breakdown bug (where it permanently destroyed hooks) these guys all ran Breakdown, Dead Hard, Soul Guard and Unbreakable.
I was running Ruin, and they just never cleansed it and ran to one corner of the map where all the hooks were gone.
It took like 30 minutes, but I won by slugging them all to death and they had the actual nerve to message me complaining about me slugging them.

try to get in character. that's my answer.

I've been bullied loads of times, and sometimes it really hurt my feelings. One of the lessons I learned is that, the times it got really upsetting, it was partly because I allowed it to go on for too long instead of walking away. So the main thing I try to do now is listen to myself and, if I feel like I'm starting to feel hurt or angry, maybe take that as a sign to walk to the other side of the map and stop participating.
The story that people like to tell is that you eventually get so good at the game that no one can bully you, but the truth is that that's not realistic for some of us. There's a ceiling on how good I'm going to get at DBD and it's never going to be good enough that it's impossible to bully me.

Plenty of times. You cant win every one, and sometimes you just get slammed really hard by a group of super coordinated solos or SWF.

Aside from the standard flashing/teabagging/nastiness in postgame (honestly, this happens so frequently that I'm sort of dead to it): Two stories.
- Earlier today I had a probable hacker premade. Legacy skin, seemingly permanent SB, always knows exactly where I am that refused to end the game, and instead ran around flicking, teabagging and just generally being jerks. Like...if you want to hack, fine. Just take your BP and get out.
- Probably my most frustrating game ever was against a team of 3x Blendettes in an SWF, on Haddonfield. I managed to kill 1, and the other survivor. The remaining Blendettes simply decided to play Hide and Seek in the bushes, with 2 gens remaining, for over 60 frustrating minutes. This was before the AFK crows, and it resulted in me taking a 6 month break from DbD.

I remember one of my first games as Nurse, Grim Pantry just came out and this is the map this story takes place
It was a full blendette squad who switched last second, all having decked out flashlights. (I actually learned that you could burn The Nurse this game!)
For 20 minutes they ran around me and I just tried to down one of them, and when I finally did, you guessed it, they saved FL saved them.
After a while their beamers ran out and they just started finishing gens, but they didnt leave.
They instead all ran down into the basement pointing at the hooks, and let me kill them.
They then all said positive things in chat, recommending certain perks and just general tips to improve.
It was an unexpected but pleasent surprise, Ill never forget that group

Literally every deathslinger match I've ever played

I mean, I've had games where I was actively bullied, and games that would seem like me being bullied but simply facing opponents that were much, much better than me.
And this happens on both sides. I've had killers actively keep punching me on hooks, tunnel me and keep me slugged while slug camping me, even games where killers simply slugged everyone for 4 full minutes with the comment that "i bought the game, I do what I want". I've had survivors use Haddonfield, 3 hook distance offerings, saboteur and sabo-toolboxes while also running flip flop, unbreakable and break-out with their end game comment being "at least we didnt rush gens", as if gens being rushed matters if you can barely hook anyone. If it wasnt for unbreakable, I would have slugged everyone that match and let them wait out those 4 minutes. I was so close to pulling off bloodwarden too.
But there are also plenty times where I had super memorable times where players either outplayed me so good I simply couldnt kill them/escape without them killing me or where I outplayed them. Or when something really silly simply happens, there is an awkward stare-off and we just act like it never happened.
This game is an emotional rollercoaster.

Yeah plenty of times but, I've beaten many of them though sometimes I do not

I was a survivor main when I was new (early 2019). I was doing Wraith daily.
And I faced a squad with old OoO, which killer didnt have Undetectable, they could can see me all the time even when in cloak.
I quitted playing for a week, then become killer main and used every dirt cheap things to revenge.

So after rank reset or actually its grade reset now I played as spirit and I'm typically a Silver grade/green rank killer and I ran into iridescent survivors who bullied me because of my mistakes and teabagged at every turn while flashy clicking at the gate. (In this particular match I was Ash 2)

I had a lot of bully squads when I was new. It was 2017 and back then survivors was very inspired by Ochido - toxic dbd youtuber and streamer.
But then I get some expirience and learned their tricks and counters. And now bully squads are my favorite type of SWF. They traditionally don't do gens much and give a lot of free hits, so they die or dc pretty quickly. They are very rare in my current games though.

Most of them have figured out how to smurf their MMR down to silly levels and are busy abusing new players, sadly.

Played a match as jump scare myers on hawkins once. The 3 man premade let the Feng I hooked die on first hook. They then proceeded to not do a single gen and just loop me... since it's impossible for me to really catch up with the add-on on. They always seemed to know where I was as well... probably hacking? They'd always move to the exit furthest away from me despite being on the other side of walls. It was literally impossible to get the jump on them and there really wasn't much I could do.
But yeah, they stopped doing gens at 1 gen left and would just do the usual stupid ######### survivors would do. I just ended up following one of them for however long it was until they decided to finish off the last gen eventually.

I still run into these sometimes (RPD...it's always RPD, as there are some essentially infinite window loops) - I just go to the hallway, pop on an episode of something I like and AFK. You want to waste my time? Waste your own damn time. Not even slightly sorry.

I mainly get bullied when a survivor or survivor group believes they can bully a killer for free and expect the game to progress normally. After slugging them a couple times they stop bullying you. Often times they don't want to play after that.

When I was new, it happened all the time. The craziest was on the swamp map, they had 3 of those hook distance offerings, boil over with the Yui perk, breakout, I think, as a Sabo squad. And the perk that breaks the hook when they get unhooked.
Jeff seemed to be their ring leader and I tried my best to kill him. I was very proud of myself at the time.
If I met those same survivors today, easy 4k.

Every killer main was at some point.
I hate Flashlight macros so much...
4x Head-on is also pain.

Quite a bit when I was just starting out; lots frustration at the hands of flashlight bully squads, among others. But as you learn how to counter common bullying tactics, it becomes less and less of an issue. If it becomes apparent early in a match that these tactics won't work, most teams will stop trying. The ones that don't usually die.

Yea. It literally happened yesterday.
I was playing Freddy on Rancid Abattoir, and I get a 4 man SWF. They all have DH, BS, BT and Flashlights. Now I'm not really good at Freddy because I always forget to use his snares, and I almost never play basic M1 killers.
The match started really good for them. They got 3 gens before I even got a Hook. Because I was busy chasing one survivor that was way more skilled than I was. She was really toxic with her pretty butt dance and clicky clicky, but I really wanted her because it was so fun chasing her. I think she might have been calling out to the others that I wasn't really that great because everyone just stopped doing gens and came directly to me. When I finally down her, 2 of them tried to get a double Flashy save, but they failed. And then when I hook her, they all tried to get the save. I'm not proud of it, but I forced 2 of them to second stage.
They were all really good. I got 360'd a lot and I fell for DH multiple times. And after every pallet drop, I got the clicky clicky and butt dances. They did so many unnecessary things, even tho it was pretty cool and skilled things. But in the end, they got too greedy. When I tried to hook someone, they all body blocked the hook, but I still managed to hook and kill the first survivor. Then one of them tried to pallet save when they are injured, which gave me my seconds kill.
When there was only 2 left. They switched from being all in my face, to extremely stealthy. But then I find one of them, I down her because I learn how she plays. And then she gets unhooked, and I go for the unhooker. And then he gets hooked and then I hind the last survivor, and hook her.

Repeatedly.

This only works when you are up against survivors that you stand a chance against.
Mostly, when randos or people of a similar skill level attempt to bully, they leave themselves open for a good smack.
When it's an SWF group with thousands of hours between then up against you and your sub-200 hours, and they just walk all over you - that's when it's really annoying. Because these groups are always the absolute peak of BM.

A hacker made my xbox burst into flames by screaming one hundred and eighty seven billion times.

Often enough. I play since release and still don't have 400 hours XD (not my main game and too many besides this).
My strategy started 2 or 3 years ago -> stop caring.
I switched to crash test dummy playstyle. I try for my 4 bbq stacks, everything beyond that is BP farming and entertainment for the survive. And don't try to go for kills. It took my 2 years of really sporadically playing this game but the last few sessions were truly relaxed.
And yes MMR works for me as intended as I mostly play against potatoes but most of them survivor. Except when i try for an adept, have a daily/tome challenge with sacrifeces (just like now -.-) or they need ages to finish gens even with obviously no pressure from my side.
Like yesterday, Oni on swamp. I carefully double hook everybody and they still have 3 gens to do. I even rushed a few times aimlessly around the map and it took me literally breaking of chases in hit distance or ignoring survivor on gens i walk straight up to until they finally stopped behaving like little critter animals and run away from gens all the time 😩
Edit: I just try to give survivors a change of pace when hardcore tunneling and camping seem so prevalent overall.

Is this a trick question? Being bullied is like killer orientation or an entrance exam.
How i deal with it is i try to improve. One game as nurse i downed someone. 2 people in the lobby had flashlights. So i pretend to pick up the survivor then i turn around and smack the person going for the save. I brought franklins. I chase them away and go back to the downed survivor. I do the same thing and hit another person wanting a flashlight save. I noticed the first hero came back for their flashlight and i down them. 2 people downed, 1 injured. The 4th and only healthy survivor revives the first one i downed only for me to down them again. 2 people down, 2 injured, 0 gens complete and both flashlights are on the ground. 2 people dc. At the end game chat the other 2 asked why did they quit? I told them "because they thought they could bully me. They were mistaken".

I spent a week or two learning Nurse on ORIGINAL Xbox One playing just her. So yes for sure. The whole time I was learning her there was only 1 and I really mean 1 cool survivor and by cool I mean sending positive messages, letting me practice hitting at gate. The rest were butt dancing, dead-harding at gate right before I hit, etc. This fueled me to learn her and it turned me into a monster for a while. I tortured everyone I came across for quite some time.
Now I win majority of my matches and let one walk out the gate every time. Not hatch the gate. I close hatch, carry to gate, let them wiggle for points, and leave. So 3k with 4 stack is my win condition. Unless the last two are Nancy, Zarina, Kate, or Elodie then they all can leave.

I've definitely run into some red rank groups and not had too much fun. That's for sure. But having done that I've learned how to deal with SWFs that is beneficial for me when I need to do my job as a killer and create pressure where I can. Whether that be on gens or slugging people and looking for that one friend who wants to help at just the right time.
1 -
How can you play killer any amount of time and not be bullied at least once? It's too prevalent to not be encountered.
1 -
No, never.
1 -
Yes, just recently actually. I was playing Ghostface, and the survivors bullied the crap out of me. I lost 3 gens in under a minute, with the other two being at least 50%, there were two people running prove thyself, and of course they all had sprint burst. The survivors constantly revealed me and only used strong loops.
After two games like that I swapped to triple blink nurse with the purple range add-on. Needless to say, I stopped getting bullied.
