The NightWatchman - high mobility ambush killer

He used to work security - watching CCTV screens all night - before he was taken by the Entity. His job hasn’t changed…..

Typical M1 killer with the ability to plant up to 9 large, ghastly eyeballs around the map. Each eyeball acts as a security camera. If he plants a 10th, the the first one shrivels away.

At any point, the killer can enshroud himself in a dark cloth cloak. His view becomes a 3x3 spread of black and white tv screens, each showing the security feed from a different eyeball. He can walk toward one of the screens. Once close enough, the screen fill his view and becomes color. In reality, he emerges from that particular eyeball and is back in the game. He teleported.

Other details

  • When the killer enters the shroud to select a camera, all survivors see their game turn black and white, and all actions become slow motion: 1/5 of normal speed. This persists until the killer selects a camera to teleport to, cancels the shroud, or times out.
  • Survivors can destroy eyeballs, but it takes time equivalent to demogorgon portals.
  • The killer is encouraged to use strategically-placed cameras in chases to cut off survivors. Furthermore, survivors are well aware of when he’s using his power. Therefore he has a short cooldown between teleports (5 to 10 seconds).
  • Each eyeball has a red number (1-9) glowing in the pupil. Survivors can see this too, just for the creepy factor. When the killer is in the shroud, each screen will have a number in the corner, but they will always be in order. (Top left is always #1)
  • Destroyed and unused eyes will have blank screens.
  • When selecting a screen, there is no gravity for the killer. If he wants the top right screen, he just looks at it and walks straight into it.
  • Killer can go into shroud to spy on survivors and then cancel if desired.
  • Add-ons may give motion detector alerts.

It’s just a concept, but I think it sounds fun! Kinda spooky for Halloween too, giant eyeballs and such. Anyway, your thoughts or suggestions?
