PC - Leatherface ability becomes broken/unusable

In my previous game:

I played - The Cannibal

With addons:

-Award-winning Chili

-The Beast's Marks

With perks:

-Thanatophobia lvl3

-Barbecue&Chili lvl3

-Tinkerer lvl3

-Infectious Fright lvl1

I played on: Badham Preschool

Next to the main building with the big basement under it in the parking lot, there was a car, at which there was a pallet.

I chased a survivor in my chainsaw rush to this pallet

The survivor Vaulted

I hit the survivor early in the vaulting animation, putting them in the dying state

Then at the same time, I destroyed the pallet

From this point on:

The ability icon was replaced by the "In Tantrum" icon

I held- then released, held- then released my chainsaw, until I noticed my charges completely depleted

My ability icon is still the tantrum, and I have 0 charges

The charges do not replenish

Pressing my ability button gives an empty "Click", but does nothing for the rest of the match

Hitting survivors, and neither picking them up and hooking them fixed the issue, I was rendered without an ability for the rest of the match

First and only time occurrence

Here's a video of it in action. No clue what causes it: it might have something to do with snuffing boon totems? But yeah, same problem, wildly bad bug.

Exactly like that. I had no boon totem snuffing in my case however

I had a similar issue but my ability didnt break it just activated tantrum the next time I tried to use my chainsaw and then it was fine again.

Had this happen too on a different occasion! Not as awful as your chainsaw breaking for the entire match however
