Deerstalker buffs
Only showing the aura of slugged survivors within a certain radius is too niche for a perk slot (in my opinion). Deerstalker should also:
- Decrease recovery speed by 11/22/33%
- Decrease the healing speed of slugged survivors by 30/40/50%
- Give an audio notification when a slugged survivor is picked up, and show their aura for three seconds
My reason for these suggestions is because the now buffed We're Gonna Live Forever allows survivors to pick up slugs insanely fast, and Unbreakable already allows for faster recovering on top of picking yourself up once per match. These buffs would help Deerstalker to counter these two survivor perks, and allow the killer to maintain pressure by slugging when needed.
Edit: Further reason is the introduction of boon totems, which are meta and heavily counteract all of these buffs. Also added values for lower tiers of the perk.

I really like those buffs so it can make a meh perk into a pretty good one. And it can also help the slugging killers out a bit.

I actually like this a lot. Ever since the WGLF buff, slugging is riskier than ever even if for only 10 seconds. I'd also find Deerstalker more useful if it actually had a benefit to leaving people slugged without having to run a dedicated slug build, so this is really nice.

I'm not sure if all three of these at once would be a good idea, but any one/two of them would really be a nice buff. I've thought about that second one myself a few times, I think it'd make the perk much more useful.

yee man, lets buff slug builds, it is SO FUN to play against them. Survivors gonna love it for sure. Good and healthy change for the game.

I'll never get why survivors hate slugging builds when it's the playstyle that forces you to be the most active instead of just m1ing gens all the game and go for an occasional unhook. Yeah games get longer but you get more chases and you have to be more active, i think that if you don't like slugging you either love repairing gens or just don't enjoy the core game.

really active, while being on the ground, holding M1 to recover for half of the game... yeah, sure.

I guess you prefer staying on hook, holding... Nothing. At least when you are slugged you can reposition and don't lose a hookstage.

Slugging is a core mechanic in Dead by Daylight, and always has been. This is not about survivor's fun. If you have fair and good suggestions to buff anti-slugging measures for survivors, I'm welcome to hearing them!

Fixing gens is core mechanic in Dead by Daylight. Does that mean we should increase fix time to 10mins per gen? What's your point exactly? Im not saying we should remove slugging, im saying buffing it will just make game more boring for average player.

Slugging is what allows survivors to recover from the dying state, or save other survivors from the dying state. It's an entire mechanic, with perks and everything, that survivors only see if the killer allows it.
This is like saying no killer should be able to injure survivors because it forces you to heal and healing is boring. The answer to that is of course instadown killers and the Plague.
Basically, you prefer "instant hook" killers over killers tgat give a window of opportunity between a down and a hook.

you are going into extreme case, as if i said slugging should get removed, which i never did. I just said it shouldn't be buffed, ffs, I know it may be a late hour in some places now, but just read what i wrote and take a second to process that before respodning.

I'd rather see the Deerstalker in its current form become base kit for killers with how often downed survivors make no sound on the ground. It's a bug that they still haven't fixed after years.

Buckle Up - get rid of the range limit.
Additionally, make it a sort of kindred for Slugging. If you, using Buckle Up, are slugged, the killer's aura is revealed to all survivors as long as the killer is standing close to you.
If we gonna go ham, also add where if someone else is slugged, the killer's aura is only revealed to you.

Besides the ham, fine by me! Buckle Up is a garage-tier perk in its current state.

Slugging is boring? you have lot of things to do while slugged unlike when you are hooked/doing gens.
