Thoughts on Midchapter?
Now that the midchapter has been out for a bit, I want to see everyones opinions, thank you!
Personally, I like the changes, I hope the boons are strong enough to shake the meta, while also making counterplay fun and fair.

Why is there no "both sides" options here? I don't play enough of one side to be a "main" of that side so I don't want to select any of these.
But other than that, I'm perfectly happy with the midchapter and appreciate most, if not all of the changes + additions from it. The only thing that bothers me is that, while I'm very happy that Plague is stronger now (she needed it), I'm a little concerned with how easy it is to fully infect someone since she now walks much faster while she's charging and using her power. It kinda feels like Redhead's Pinky Finger Clown sometimes... 😛

Bad - Killer Main
Disaster. Im not touching killer until boons have good counterplay. I died as survivor only once since the patch and even then that game lasted for 30 minutes. Absolutely broken in all ways. Who thought giving survivors infinite resources woth low risk/effort is a good idea?

Neutral - Survivor Main
We need a both sides option.

Good - Survivor Main
Slinger was the only objective bad thing they’ve done this patch. Pretty solid patch overall. Also I play both sides so I wish you had an option for that.

Neutral - Killer Main
I would say neutral for both sides cause I play an equal amount of Killer and Survivor

Good - Killer Main
Unfortunatly I could only have 10 poll options.

Ah I see, that's fine then! Didn't mean to seem complainy in my comment by the way, I realized it kinda looked like that after I posted it.

True, I wasnt thinking about that.

Good - Both sides
I just can't understand why polls are always created to further pit survivors against killers and vice versa. As if the people that play both sides just don't exist.

Look I only had 10 poll options, I would have done both, but than I can't say other, which people call out, if I say other, than I can't mention neutral, god.

I can see right away which poll options you could get rid of to make space so don't act like you had no other choice my dude. You definitely did.
Primarily: I don't see the reason to have "good" and "perfect" as separate poll options. Frankly NOTHING in this game is perfect, and you can assume with reasonable certainty nobody (or at least very few people) are going to vote for that poll option. There's also just the whole idea that absolutely nothing in this world is perfect, everything is flawed in some way, and everything can be improved upon. Case in point, currently only 1 killer main said it was a perfect update, and no survivor mains said it was perfect as of writing. Ergo: Delete the "perfect" options.
Secondly: If you're putting "Other" there's little reason to put "Neutral" especially if you're running low on poll options. It would be pretty fair to say that the people voting neutral, likely have something more to say than just it's "good / bad" and these are the people that might be more likely to post comments since they have conflicting thoughts or feelings about the update. Recognizing both positive and negative impacts which lead them to more of a middle ground neutral position. "Other" encapsulates these opinions really well, as they are the "other" opinions that are neither good nor bad. It's also probably not as important to make a distinction between a survivor "other" opinion and a killer "other" opinion, since their default player perspective is not leading them to a bias toward good or bad, but a detailed neutral ground opinion. Ergo: Delete the "neutral" options, and merge the "Other" options.
And bam. I've just opened up 5 poll option slots for you, leaving your poll with a cohesive and succinct: "Good / Bad - Survivor, Good / Bad - Killer, and Other" The extra space you could use not only to provide a place for the players who play both sides (a sizeable portion of the community) but also whatever else you wanted to.
And if you still don't think this is somehow a good idea as far as your poll goes, I would make the argument it's less important to provide a spectrum of poll option responses from "bad to perfect", than it is to not alienate a literal chunk of the common playerbase who play dead by daylight as a whole in both roles.
People can speak for themselves, and you don't need to provide a perfectly accurate poll option for everybody from "Bad, Slightly bad, to Neutral, to Good, to Perfect" If they have those things to say they'll say it, and it's more important to create poll options that align with their viewpoints well enough that you can clearly see what they voted for first, and then their more detailed thoughts in their comment below.
