Defending the Basement Chest

I'm a Doctor main. And I'm sure most people know how stressful it is being a Doctor. Double shifts, drama with co-workers, those pesky ethical limitations, the works. So, sometimes, I like to just go to my basement and chill after a hard day of kil- treating people.

Specially if there's a mysterious chest there. Because who doesn't love a good mystery?

Now, I know that this is mostly a Bubba thing, but I argue that electric shocks can be just as effective as chainsaws in defending a chest.

But before I go off in a long, elaborate essay about the liberating feeling that comes with being alone in a basement with a locked box and four sinister meathooks, let me ask something.

Some guys have been threatening (*gasp!*) to report me for trolling just because I was minding my own business in the basement. I wasn't even AFK, either. After all, I need to be alert to protect the precious chest. Nor was I holding the game hostage in any way, as all the Survivors could leave whenever they wanted. Not my fault if they choose to come to MY chest and end up hooked thanks to a NOED.

So, is there any merit to those threats/reports? Is defending the most important chest in the game bannable? Are we going to shame a man just because he likes to stay by himself in a basement with his precious chest and zap the hell out of anyone who comes near them? In 2021?

Okay, now that I got that out of my chest, I'm going back to defending the basement one. But I would really appreciate your input on this, because I'm a law-abiding psychopatic Killer and don't want to be doing anything illegal.

Thanks!
