Killers - How do you respond to sandbagging survivors?

There was this game I was playing on The Underground Laboratory, there were 2 survivors remaining, I was in the portal room (The room with two floors, with what looks like a portal on the wall) The generator was the one hugging the far wall, where one of the repair slots is next to a corner. So, I head over and a Dwight is sandbagging a Yui. The Yui is injured, and Dwight is not, the way I deal with sandbaggers was the way I always did, I downed Yui, and Injured dwight, hitting them both with POTD. I than downed dwight with my basic attack, hooked him and gave Yui hatch.

Ending my anecdote there, how do you handle sandbaggers?

Depending on how well they are sandbaging. I take the free hit, and then quickly see if the sandbagger runs towards a safe area or a dangerous area. If it's unsafe, I chase and down them, if it's safe I continue after the survivor I currently was in chase with (unless the area they are running to is significantly stronger than the area the sandbagger is running to).

For simplicity sake, always chase the easier/weaker target.

Same, kill the sandbagger and let the bagged go.

The problem I've found is a lot of times, I don't have the context or knowledge needed to know what is going on. Sure, sometimes the survivor is being blatant in their sandbagging where they have me chase them somewhere and they point to their fellow survivor but even then, I have no idea what these two have done all game. Did the pointer do all the work while the hider literally just hid all game and the pointer is irked? Did the hider do all the work all game and the pointer deserves to die? Are they both just wasting my damn time?

I used to judge and let one go but I found too many times that I just made the wrong call when we get to the score screen and see the one I murdered did all the work while the one I let go didn't. So generally, kill them all and let The Entity sort it out unless I have reason to believe one is "innocent".

Honestly I don’t bother anymore. It’s not up to me to police others behaviour. I just play and move on.

There is such a massive population of people who are just unpleasant to play with in this community that the only real fix to the toxicity will be bots.

    please make custom bots.

Take full advantage of it. No mercy. Killers need all they can get.

I have yet to see one while playing killer. I only encounter them while playing survivor for some reason.

Kill the sandbagger. Let the other go.

Put the sandbag on the ground then put the sandbagger on the ground. Proceed to hooking the sandbagger before hooking the sandbag. If the rest of the team is paying attention, they'll have an opportunity to rescue the sandbag.

If they do rescue the sandbag, I'll hard proxy camp the sandbagger.

If they don't rescue the sandbag, I'll hard proxy camp the sandbagger.

Tbh, i earn +10 points in sociopath with the last one.

I usually ignore them but this one guy was something else.

I let him the last one alive, down he and then slug that David while whipping whith nemesis tentacle to show dominance.

Then i close the hatch in his face followed with extra dosis of whipping.

When 1% of his life, grab and hook, and yes, you gess it, more dominance tentacle whipping.

As i said not something that i do but some people are begging for it.

I usually just kill the degenerate as I do not particularly like them.

Just kill the cocky Survivors first. You can also just camp them with some Killers like Bubba or Trickster.

It depends on which survivor has annoyed me more during the match. If its the person being sandbagged then no mercy, but if its the sandbagger I'll just go out of my way to tunnel them and farm with the rest of the team.

If it's the last two, I'll probably kill them both. I know when I'm playing survivor and I sandbag someone at the end, it's usually because they did nothing but hide all match or they kept trying to sandbag me, and often I'm not trying to get a free escape, I'm just trying to make sure we both die, so... yeah, as killer, I'll just assume it's the same deal. I mean, I don't want it to look like I'm working with the survivor who sandbagged, but I also doubt the survivor who got sandbagged was an innocent victim (sometimes they are, but still, if I kill both then I'm being fair about it).

If it's mid-match and there are more than two survivors left, I might give the one who got sandbagged a free pass for a bit. I recently had a match where I hooked a Steve, he got off the hook, and then a Dwight I was chasing (who hadn't been hooked yet) ran to a locker and gave up the still-injured Steve. That was so uncool. I downed Dwight and hooked him and pretended I never saw Steve in the locker. I still killed Steve later, but it was after making sure Dwight died.

It's not quite the same as sandbagging, but if I see an SWF group bullying a random solo, I'll kill the SWF group and let the random solo go. I'm not having that. Last time I remember that happening, I slugged the three to death, and the solo ran up and teabagged at them and ran back off. That made me laugh.
