Validation
Hey, I don't care about pallet, or DH validation.
It works more often sure.
But fix that wrong feedback, that is what is annoying me most.
Also fix canceled grabs

The feedback is correct, the validation is wrong because it's survivor client sided now.

Its server side and the feedback is the source of complants.
The solution may be worse than the problem though. In order to fix the feedback the process would have to wait on the server to validate. This will cause delayed feedback on every interaction.

It is not based on the survivor-client. This confirms that you really dont know how the system works, it is server-sided. If it would be based on the survivor-client, you would not get any Hits through Pallets at all.

Apparently, this is not possible. BHVR prefers the instant feedback, because otherwise you would have delays. I would even question if it would be technically possible.

It's techincaly possible. Most shooters do this. Its just that those interactions are more detatched than running up and hitting another character.

I mean if it would be possible for DBD. Because with a delay after any interaction, the game would probably feel very clunky.

Current version is not really better and killers are going to see way more often
but it's going to be rare for survivors now, so it's fine

i hate when it starts the grab animation and then it cancels and makes you swing

It actually lost me a game twice already. I don't get why it's not guaranteed hit.

If it truly were server-sided, than both survivors and killers would sometimes suffer because of these validation misses. But as we clearly see, only killers have problems: survivors never get hit after activating the perk on their side anymore. Therefore it's survivors-sided, not actually server-sided.
