Blessing totem reset?

Issue occurred on PC

Only had this issue happen once, but I didn't think to make note of all the factors at the time, though it's possible this could be replicated unless it is intended if it hasn't been advised to players.

Was using Boon: Shadow Step as this was prior to the recent patch when Boon: Healing Circle was still disabled.

Was blessing a dull totem at the time however the 5th Generator was completed while blessing. At the exact moment the dull totem was changed to a Hex Totem for Hex: NoED and the blessing progress was immediately restarted.

Haven't had this situation happen again though I suspect it would easily be replicated by blessing the last remaining dull totem in a trial, have the killer using NoED and have the 5th generator be completed in the middle of the dull totem being blessed which would then switch the dull totem to the Hex Totem.

Can confirm NOED does this if it lights up on a totem currently being blessed. The action will reset and will then have the longer bless time that hexes are intended to have. I'm not sure if this is an intended feature to ensure hexes take longer to bless, or if it should just then be slower from that point forward without resetting.

    Interesting finding.

For the sake of the discussion, it's worth pointing out that, in contrast, if dulls turn into hexes while being cleansed (not blessed) the progress doesn't reset.
