do you care about the state of the game and/or enjoy it? I mean the game, not the players or BHVR, just the gameplay and the stories told through it.
Edit: I predicted as much. (I mean, these are the game's forums, but still)

Yes. I love DBD and I want it to be in a good state, but the devs don't seem to be competent when it comes to that.

Absolutely. I am very passionate about this game, despite my criticisms of it. It is the only game besides tf2 that i have put in over 2000 hours into, i love this game despite all its faults and enjoy involving myself in its community. Its very unique in a lot of ways that i simply just can't get anywhere else.

Truth? If something better came along, I'd jump.
If DBD didn't have it's licensed horror characters, I would of dumped this years ago.

I care about it immensely, both gameplay and lore. There's a reason I'm here; if it really were a bad game I'd have jumped ages ago.

Yes. DBD is a game that I hold close to my heart, so much so that I've put up with all the buggy updates and questionable decisions made by the devs. I really want this game to do well.

I support the game, and also feel that competition would be good for it, so I am hoping more games like VHS start to emerge.
Also, I wouldn't stop playing this, even if another appealing game came along, because honestly why not play both!
This game does need some evolution and improvements, although at the same time some of the complaints laid against it are smelly #########. Also, it has done a lot of things right, as well as bodged.
Ultimately, they're going to remain the leaders for quite some time, but some good competitors would absolutely be a great thing.
