Once MMR hit and adjusted survivor players (for me it was great experience cause my escape rate skyrocket), everyone finally realized how strong survivors are, and it showed that most killers can't handle them anymore by playing fair, so to win, tunneling and camping become main strat almost for every killer, especially for weak ones.

Blame BHVR. Killers are nerfed in power for no reason (wraith/slinger/pig etc etc) Survivors keep getting put into the game with powercrept perks. Maps keep getting reworked or introduced that blatantly favor survivors. MMR is in the game now which favors survivors more and more and more as the higher mmr it goes.

Don't blame killers. We're workin with what we got.

The answer is easy. Tunneling is basically the best strategy in the environment now.

If killers don't take out one survivors quickly enough, they will hear ding ding ding, so why wouldn't they.

Also Mikaela is the one brings boon totem more frequently since they're her teachable perks.

Boon totems are pain to deal with, so take out those who probably equip it is a legit action.

NOED is not that strong btw, it's a totem perk requires end game and at least one "dull" totem to work.

Do bones or make sure boons are activated on all remaining totems then you will be save from it.

And don't assume NOED is not there, when the generators are done, just open the gate and leave.

Why risk yourself on a surprise to find out NOED is on and probably with Blood Warden?

Don't get cocky. If you are close to win, just get out. Other survivors' survival is not your responsibility at that phase in trials.

I don't know. Why all the Dead Hard, DS, BT, Unbreakable, COH, and doing gens quickly?

Blame the terrible "Boon Totem" idea as a whole and the fact that the Killer has no meaningful counter play to them other than to temporarily delay them. If Killers could DESTROY/CRUSH the Totems, nobody would be bitching.... The problems are right there. The developers just like to take their sweet time and overly discuss things that have been obvious since....forever..

When people who are not getting paid to make the game have more precise/clear/efficient/balanced ideas than the ACTUAL CREATORS of the game, that is when you should all know how things will typically play out... In DBD's case... It's usually a ######### show..

The boons aren't exclusively linked to Mikaela. It's like leaving a Laurie on the floor because of DS - you just expect them to have it because the perk originates from that survivor. By now, a lot of people have the perks on their main. You could potentially tunnel a player for a perk/s they don't even have.

The reason is because you were playing as mikeala. people don't like boons.

Sorry you got tunneled like that.
