What do you think of a Bendy and the Ink Machine Chapter?

Maybe
I like Bendy and the Ink Machine. I think it's got a really cool visual style, and thematic premise- this idea of an artist's innocent (more or less) drawings coming to life in a very demonic way.
However, the art style is so strikingly different, I think they'd have a very difficult time translating it into DBD. Having a map in Sepia Tones and a black and white killer to match against survivors running around in full color, doesn't meld very well and the contrast I think is too much for DBD.
I think a paragraph featuring just the inky form of Bendy might be more possible, but there are still a lot of hurdles to overcome. As far as I remember there wasn't really any true violence in that game, it was more implied violence / cartoon violence, where you can tear a head off someone's shoulders off screen (like how the Projectionist dies) and it won't matter because Ink spurts out instead of blood. Not that DBD is the most graphic game in the world, but there are graphic elements to it- slashing at a survivor spews blood all over the killer's screen, survivors leak blood as they try to escape, and of course the Moris are actually pretty graphic and more in line with your standard gruesome horror deaths. Just as a few examples. Bendy and the Ink Machine doesn't really work with this either.
"Maybe" sounds a bit too hopeful, I'd probably be teetering somewhere between "Maybe" and "No" I won't say it's truly impossible but damn near pretty difficult I'd bet.

Apologies for the necro I suppose, but I was thinking about this thread when PTB released today.
Unfortunately I think Bendy's chances just decreased considering this new chapter. New killer seems to have taken her place in the roster as our resident "Artist" killer with the same or at least pretty close Ink concept to boot as well.
Which isn't to say that killers who are similar in concept or visual style can't coexist, so as I said before still not impossible per say. Hillbilly / Leatherface, Legion / Ghostface, etc. But since Bendy was probably lower in demand to begin with, and this original killer sort of acts as a surrogate in his place, things are looking even less likely is all I'm saying

It would need to be quite majorly bent out of shape to fit into DBD. Which i feel would compromise the artistic vision of both games, which i heavily disagree with.
