Dead Hard in my opinion because killer life on high mmr is already hard enough. Then you finally did this amazing mindgame on a survivor that has been teabagging after every single pallet, but they still get away because of their second chance perk. Decisive Strike is only annoying when people use it to waste your time by running after you and then quickly hop into a locker.

    DH, easily.

DS could always be played around, sometimes with the good old dribble, sometimes with slugging, and the list goes on.

DH never had anything like that.

Always dead hard. You can usually play around DS, but dead hard can turn a short chase that should have ended there into two minutes if you can't cut it off for another survivor.

  • Ok but not every scenario is perfect, and not everyone will be able to dead hard for distance

I agree but it happens alot and as I said its a lose lose for the killer all in a button press. I will say though that with hit validation I do see it used alot more to dodge hit so thats a plus.

Dead hard, no argument. Decisive only works for 1 minute after someone has been tunneled after being unhooked, can only be used once, and deactivates upon healing, unhooking, and working on gens. For dead hard a survivor simply has to be injured and can then use it to avoid a hit and gain distance, potentially making a chase last a lot longer than it should. Also, with the new dead hard it feels like you're getting robbed of hits more than ever since they scream, indicating that you definitely hit them, but the game decided to take that hit away from you.
