Mikeala's Witch Cosmetic
Do you think her limited witch cosmetic will show up in the store in a year or so? As well as Doc's Halloween one?

yes

They do it with almost every cosmetic. Nothing in this game is exclusive anymore since its more profitable to be able to sell it again later. Same goes with everything in the rift.

Yes. Everything from the Rift comes into the store eventually.

hopefully not, I'd like to see it as little as possible, personally.

i believe, no. If yes, why not

I mean why not? Nurse's hallowed blight skin was re released like a year later too.

thanks, i didnt wanna force myself to grind the tome in a week

Imagine how much money they would make if Legacy items were to be brought back...

Except for the rarest, most valuable collectibles in the game... charms

The Halloween cosmetics are stated to be available only during the Event.

I managed to 'grind' out the cosmetics in less than a week. Most of the challenges can be done in a single game.

So doc almost went mad?
Thats.. funny.

yeah they're easy, and the event was extended through the 12th which was plenty of time to get the cosmetics.

That's wrong according to the (admittedly old) FAQ: https://deadbydaylight.com/en/archives#faq
If you missed some rewards in The Rift, most of them will eventually be available in our in-game store after a minimum period of 6 months.
Most of them != all of them
This is the most recent information that I am aware of, if you or anyone else has a more current source then please let me know. It's possible that the FAQ only talks about the charms, but it's also possible that other cosmetics are included in the FAQ statement.
Even if it's easy I see no reason to essentially "force" players to play during the event to get the items. Plus there's the issue with players who do / did not play the game during the event, for example because they haven't even purchased it yet. Those players are then forever locked out of getting the items.

I'm pretty sure all rift cosmetics return to the store at a later date, but not charms.

Which isn't bad. A majority of their player base are completionists, and Dead by Daylight isn't a game meant to be played without breaks. It would be very bad business if players took a break, and came back to learn they have 0 chance of completing their collections - they would just leave for a game where they can.

That's how it has been, but that doesn't mean it will always be like that. Until there is an official confirmation I think it's not a great idea to assume that everything will always come to the store eventually.
That was outside of the control of the devs so that's not a great example.

Technicaly this isn't the rift but an event designed like one.
But BHVR will more than likely reopen this event rift next year and allow new players to get them. Then we can all enjoy the complaning threads.
