Stranger things cosmetics gone in ptb

I played the portrait of a murder ptb today and noticed that Steve and nancy did not have their cosmetics, just their defaults and prestige outfits. when I went back to the regular game, all of their cosmetics were back. Is this happening because of the license ending soon? Sorry if this is a dumb question I legit have no idea
