gen regression buff
k hear me out when a killer kicks a generator the regression on it is laughable and because of how low regression is gen rushing exists and gens in general are too easy to start then leave. i feel in my opinion because you all have a right to disagree that when a survivor is not working on a gen it regresses at the current amount. if a survivor fails a skill check then the gen will regress at 2 times the normal regression speed. and finally when a killer kicks a generator the generator should regress at the same speed as one survivor working alone. this would make make stopping generator progress an actual possibility because right now it is pretty much impossible to stop a 99% generator from being completed without having to camp the spot for a couple of minutes and in that time frame other gens are done. what do you think if you dont want to leave a comment then vote awesome if you agree or lol if you disagree.

I made a thread suggesting this awhile back myself. Currently at present regression rates it takes about 320 seconds to completely regress a gen at 99%. I initially asked for a 1:1 regression/progression system. So it would only take 80 seconds to completely regress a gen. That might be a bit to strong but i think a 2:1 regression level would be good. That would mean it would take 160 seconds to regress a 99% gen. Not instant but if the survivor decide to abandon a gen it will take away a significant chunk of progression.

I personally think this is a good idea. I mainly play survivor on console at red ranks, and I do believe that killers unable to place much pressure on gens will get gen rushed. I have had some experience playing as Michael in yellow ranks, and I do feel like the regression is underpowered. I think they could improve it in such a way that they increase regression speed, and have it so when the generator is kicked, some of the progress is automatically taken off.
thanks for your opinion im glad a lot more people then i initially thought are more or less agreeing. if they did buff regression then they wouldnt need to increase time to do gens either.

@friendlykillermainFor the same reason increasing the time it takes to repair gens would suck. We do not need to spend MORE time holding down a button and staring at the screen. The devs are creative with their changes for this reason. Repairing gens is boring.
ahhh that is true i would like to see secondary objectives but until we get that regression needs a buff.

@friendlykillermain No, it doesn't. They're decreasing the time it takes the killer to perform actions and decreasing the time spent in chases by nerfing exhaustion perks, getting rid of pallet vacuums and changing vaults. I get so many hits through pallet drops or when a survivor can't quite get that fast vault. Chases chases end much faster now.0
