Why didn't I down this survivor?
Is this some kind of survivor perk I don't know about or did the game just decide I wasn't winning today???

to clarify; I got the hit sound and was absolutely close enough to hit them.

Best just to bait every person as if they have dead hard. As you get higher in ranks more and more survivors use it. Dead give away when they run directly at you too.

It doesn't tank damage, it gives you I-frames where damage can't be done, because of validation though, it makes it more consistent, not more OP. You technically didn't hit them, it gave you the missed attack cooldown because the server didn't see it as a hit, you just get the blood and scream effect on your screen.
Also not to be mean but you are clearly a newer player, please stop spreading this "wow survivors have even more advantage" until you actually improve yourself and learn the game, killers aren't oppressed and horrible to play lmao. You would have gotten her if you just...waited one second lol
