Hackers can dox consoles?
Anyone know if the recent ddos, dox and swatting attacks carry over to console players just by playing with a hacker?

Short answer: Yes
Ok so a DDOS aims to take out your router, not necessarily your device. If your IP is public, than you run the risk, so console is no safer.

While they can likely snag your IP to DDoS you, it only gives a general area.
They'd have to find another thread of information to link your area to your address from something like a social media site (Or if you're stupid and have your name as your Username or something) in order to Doxx you to be able to SWAT you.
Edit: and if you're a nobody the effort needed to Doxx/SWAT you likely isn't worth it.

It means they send a bunch of bots to make thousands of requests to your router, ultimately overwhelming it and slowing your internet down. a lot. I mean like 2 frames if your lucky.
And that assumes you can get in the game at all.
