Killers are a laughing stock
I thought if you're a killer you're not supposed to be a joke but a killer that hangs or murder survivors? Why the ######### can survivors do dumb ######### like teabagging at exit gates and have hit validation dead hards with a cocktail of obnoxious flashlights and 4 SWFs? And don't talk to me about the cheaters there's already too many of them to count.
I support killers face camping and especially if they use leatherface. Don't give up killers face camp the ######### outta these fools.

Noted.

Best bet play something else for a bit. No one should get tilted playing a game. Tilted over balance and other game/performance issue sure but not the game. That should be the fun part.
Oh and get Lightborn if it's that bad.

Is it that time to fire up the ole basement bubba today?

Because it's a game, you're not an actual killer and they're not gonna die for real. Mindblowing, ikr?

*Angry chainsaw noises*

Wait, you're telling me I'm NOT murdering real people???
5 -
Thats a great way to blow off some steam, every time I get angry I just get off executioner, get on trapper and trap up shack basement, people dont fear camping trappers like they fear camping bubbas:
Agitation
Iron Grasp
BBQ and Chili
Insidous

We all ought to ask for a refund, imho. Actual scam smh.
2 -
I wouldn't mind if escapes were a rare thing. I don't mind dying at all as survivor.
I know it will never happen tho because most survivors disagree.

Nice build 8/10
I'd replace BBQ with NOED, you only need to hook one person anyway, and the position of the other survivors are irrelevant after you have your first hook, because you aint leaving that hook.
NOED, whilst clunky and questionable on an insta-down Killer, has a 35% chance of increasing survivor post game salt, and often leads to some sneaky M1 kills.

I see the relevance, and agree with the prompt

NO!
Face camping is boring!

I mean killers aren't a laughing stock if you are good at the game, there are just as much toxic things a killer can do as there are for surviors lmao

I support Survivors teabagging and especially if they click while doing so. Don't give up Survivors, teabag the ######### outta these fools.

Most of the recent updates are negated if you use an insta-down killer or add-ons.
Dead Hard validation doesn't matter if they aren't injured and are insta-downed.
Who cares how quickly they heal if you insta-down them?
Add in a Spirit Fury + Enduring and you don't have to care about Pallet Validation either.

To all the replies about toxicity, skill and balance this has nothing to do with any of those.
I think the issue here is expectations.
What the game sells itself as is big scary killer chasing down fearful survivors desperately trying to escape.
The reality is most games are time pressured killer sweats to get kills while cocky survivors run around and waste their time as much as possible.
The latter is a much more lackluster game experience, for everybody. Because what's the point of a survival horror when your survival is all but guaranteed for a large proportion of your games. The game itself sets the wrong expectation in the theme and everyone gets pissy and toxic about it and rants about balance.

If you don’t care for bloodpoints, replace bbq with starstruck. I use this exact build with nurse replacing insidious with I’m all ears and it cleans house. It works well for bubbas basement too.

Another "I feel miserable as Killer so Ill be toxic" thread, how nice... NEXT!!

This is a game that rewards longevity. One must stay long enough to be better/more experienced than a certain percentage of your competitors or you will not have a lot of fun.
I can't help but be a bit skeptical of killers that constantly act like they don't win. Or that they face seal team SWFs every game. As many on here state, most of us do a lot of Solo Q. So if you play a role, and you keep losing, more so than winning, You simply need to get better. You need to get more experience and learn to see what needs to be done in certain situations. I know how it sounds, and many lack the self awareness to do so, I.E. acknowledge their own misplays.
But, at the beginning, your win rates are low. As you get time in, gain experience, you will have a high rate of "wins". Then, when you reach the top competitors you should win, just a bit more than you lose.
If, you feel powerless playing killer, game after game, then you should seriously consider if you are the common denominator.

Amen

Exactly, I mean wow. People take this ######### way too seriously.
I think it stems from the I only have fun if I win mentality that persists in the emotionally under developed.
2 -
Same.
I've turned off messages from non-friends and I just recently had to make my profile private because some real gamers were messaging others on my friends list since they couldn't rage af me.
1 -
Agreed. The whole cocky survivor thing goes against what the game sells itself to be.
2 -
Yurp.
DbD was the game that finally made me make my Steam profile private, and reluctant to play against TTV lobbies.

It's a shame. I've met some real great people on DBD.
But most of what I get now is hatemail and it starts to weigh on you after a while, ya know?
I still get knocked offline every few days but overall my experience has been much more enjoyable

Some people wish killer were 3rd person, but I've always disagreed simply because I treat the killer role as murder simulation. The immersion of ending a life is worth more than any in game advantage.
Nurse, Oni, Demo and Myers moris make my struggles worth it
.....I'm on a list now aren't I?

Oh, don't you worry one bit, I will face camp them for you, AceinaHole.

I tried basement trapper, and it is infinitely more fun than trying to play regularly, thanks for the idea!

I agree with these comments; the 'fantasy' of the game as it was portrayed to me (imo) is that I would have fun being chased and dying a lot and that escape through the exit would be a rare occurrence that should be celebrated.
The reality is the opposite though and escape happens more often than not, with those times I die usually being down to useless teammates or a killer who has lost all hope and is face camping.
As killer I do not feel like the threat they should be, and this is particularly egregious to me when you have the 'Horror Hall of Fame' with most of the biggest horror icons reduced to Scooby Doo villains; chasing round a box in circles and those pesky kids always getting away with it.
People half joke about it DbD being a bully simulator but the more I think about it see the similarities to real life bullying, where the 'cool edgy kids' gang up and pick on\make fun of the weird loner. I hate that the game appears to support this kind of schoolyard bullying while also claiming to be a safe space for people from all sorts of backgrounds and walks of life.
If I was being bullied at school then playing killer would just feel like more of the same misery you see in your everyday life.

Killers are meant to give the survivors are fun exciting time. Not to win. You're a Halloween maze scare actor.
