DC Penalty Is Broken

As the title says the DC penalty system is a broken system because it also punishes players who have no control over the game when it crashes or losr connection to internet for a brief min.


3 times today I have had issues 1 time was the game and 2 others was my Internet Service Provider doing updates. Each time I received a DC penalty for doing absolutely nothing that I could prevent it.

These three times were my first times so the time wasn't so bad but it keeps going up with each DC and I dont understand is why your automated system cant tell a difference between someone leaving a match and losing connection to the server.....and now with the DDoS attacks that could make connections even worse for everyone, more innocent players will be punished for things out of thier control.

Turn off these penalties until that can be addressed and fixed because TBH it's not stopping the DCs.....I have had a total of 15 players quit on me because they didn't like I downed them or hooked them.

I dont want to all of a sudden get a string of connection issues and get booted from the game only to keep getting a racked up penalty.

    You want EAC the game to be able to understand the difference between a dropped connection and someone pulling out their ethernet cord?

    You are playing an online, team based game. You are responsible for your internet connection. If you are one of the unfortunate people that live in an underserved community that is a tragedy, but no one wants you on their team if you continue to DC - whether it is your fault or it isn't.

    It how it works in every game. It's not game problem u have ######### connection. It's all upon your responsibility to play the game with ######### connection.

    Simply because mimicking an internet issue is simple to do, disconnect your machine, turn off the network adapter and you would be golden.

    People have abused those types of workarounds for forever. It might suck that you had some issues with your provider, but it should be max 30 mins delay before you can play.
